Alan's Appliance Repair

The repairman was very thorough, prompt, courteous and highly knowledgeable. There are only a few places in the country that have parts for my foreign appliance, and Alan's got the part as quickly as possible. I was always informed of the status of the repair.

It took 4 visits to accurately diagnose the problem and remedy. Very professional service but diagnostics were difficult to determine. Cleaned condenser coil, replaced main board, then valve. Ultimately resolved with valve. Board was a maybe. Charges after board were gratis.

We contacted them to fix our Thermador Refrigerator. The tech came out and was nice originally and said they would be back with the part in a bit. They never contacted us back, so we called four times and left messages - no return phone call. They charged us a $78.00 service charge to come out - and never did anything. It is also interesting that they operate under several different names. Alan's Appliance Repair, [*** Link removed ***] and A & A Appliance Repair. VERY SHADY AND DISHONEST COMPANY.

I actually received his referral by calling our plumber (Santhoff Plumbing) first. I also found Alan's Appliance Repair on Angie's and noted the good grades and reviews. So, I spoke with Alan by phone and described the symptoms. He was able to give me a ballpark estimate which allowed me to decide whether to replace or repair. An appointment was set. He arrived on-time and proceeded with diagnostics and subsequent replacement of dishwasher's drain pump. Neat, clean and courteous. Total cost came in under his estimate, Our 16-yr old Bosch can keep on quietly cleaning the dishes. I'm a happy customer.

Alan returned my service request call quickly. He gave me a two hour window and told me he would call when he was en route. He diagnosed the problem quickly. He did not have the part required in his truck but told me he could get it and return at the end of the day and install. Again he called when he was en route. He installed the new part and performed some maintenance cleaning as well. My refrigerator is back in service. I would highly recommend Alan. He was very respectful of my time and my house.

I called and they were at my house in a hour. He assessed the situation and came back the next day and made the repairs. Alex did an excellent job and even called the next day to see if everything was still ok.

He responds very quickly. He is coming back out to repair my washing machine and to finish the work on the refrigerator. His pricing was reasonable.

They are always on time. They come within 24 hours. They are very professional. I can count on them every time I need them. They are priced extremely reasonably.

He came the day I called and was very courteous. He gave me a 1 year warranty on the work he did.
