Description of Work: Pool deck removal/repair/replacement, pool replaster, wood fence removal and replacement. Initially we were very impressed with the company. Julian was real nice. I discussed with him the importance of minimizing delays and having someone on site that speaks english. I was told that once the project starts it would be competed and not delayed due to other job commitments. But once the work began things started to change and it ended up taking more than 4 months to do the work. In addition to the delays there were many other issues | start kept getting pushed back due to delays with existing work or contractor unavailability | once started delays were common and I never knew when the crew would show up and rarely was anyone onsite that spoke english which lead to communication problems. One in particular was when they dumped a bunch of ceramic tile chips & shards in the area where our dog hangs out after being specifically told not to dump in that area. It was picked up but there are still small pieces around. | The biggest problem occurred when they started up the pool and there was a leak around the skimmer. Apparently while taking out the decking the pipe was damaged by the jack hammer. Julian was upset and gave me the impression that he would take care of it. He brought in a leak detector guy and sure enough there was a leak and said the skimmer needed toy be replaced. This meant they had to dig up the fresh decking. It was a mess but Julian said it had to be done which i agreed to understanding that Agua Blue was taking care of it. However, the next day I get an invoice for ~$1100.00 to fix the skimmer. Apparently Julian's position was that they didn't do it and if even they did it still wasn't his responsibility. I was p but felt trapped so I let him do it. I was onsite and took many pictures of the excavation. Once the digging was completed and the skimmer removed it was clear that the skimmer was not damaged. Julian and his son saw it and knew it was there fault because the leak was actually in the upper pipe just a few inches below where they replaced the decking and not in the skimmer. It could of been fixed for next to nothing not to mention the deck repair looks like crap compared to the original. At any rate, the skimmer was replaced and when the final invoice came I told them I didn't think I should pay them for this under the circumstances but they were adamant about it not being there responsibility. In short we agreed to split the cost 50/50. I still had some touchups and minor details that need to be finished up so I agreed. That was a mistake because they didn't compete the touchups & minor details. After they got the money they blew me off never returned my calls. The son called me last summer wanting to know if he could show a prospective client our pool I told him sure but he needed to finish up the detailed work first. I never heard from him again. | It's a shame this turned out like this, the work they completed was decent and transformed the backyard but I got disrespected and will not tolerate that.

Description of Work: We used the services of Agua Blue Pool Service.

Description of Work: Replaced damaged decking, stamped all decking w/flagstone design, added waterfall feature & re-plastered pool, tore out old fence & replaced new 7' cedar fencing with with 12"x2" rot boards.

Description of Work: install handrail into pool, new deck-o-seal around pool and treat for stains

Description of Work: Agua Blue Pool Services comes every Thursday to do pool services. We have used them for probably 5 or 6 years.
