Affordable Tree Service

It went very well. The crew was fast and efficient. They cleared up all debris and we can now let the sunshine. Thanks to Michael for all his help with this project. I highly recommend this company.?? B. Kimble

We hired him once to remove a large pecan tree and trim many others. Then he fixed a fence that the original tree had broken. Great job. No complaints. Then we called him again to fix another fence and he would make appointments and miss them without calling me to cancel. Then he called me about 2 weeks later. I gave him one more chance because I had been too busy to call someone else. Guess what? He stood me up again! Save yourself the hassle and call someone reliable.

Did a beautiful job!

We thought is was going to be OK, but I will definitely not use Affordable Tree Service again, ever.  I was going to have him take out some tree stumps and then it went from one thing to another. He ended up cutting some trees back. He never got the tree stumps out like he should have. Then we couldn't really plant. Then he comes back and tells me that it is going to be more money and all that crap. It was not a good experience. He never did what he said he was going to do. I just do not want him coming back. The main issue was that in the middle of the job he wanted more money to finish it.

The Christmas lights experience was a nightmare. I learned of the business based on a advertisement hung on my front door. I called and arranged to meet a man who identified himself as "Charles" -- as I met with "Charles" an Hispanic man watched us from a large gray pickup. Charles quoted me $900 for the tree trimming and $600 for the Christmas lights and said the lights would be hung before Thanksgiving and that following Christmas they would return and remove the lights. The Hispanic guy was introduced to me. Charles showed up a few more times and always this Hispanic man stood and watched from across the street as if he were keeping an eye on Charles. Trees were trimmed timely, but I had to constantly remind trimmers of the trees they were suppose to trim -- they only wanted to trim the trees in the front yard when the agreement was front and back yards. The light experience was not good. First, the lights weren't hung until around December 10 and I constantly got excuses on the reasons for the delay, but mainly it was that they were trying to find lights to purchase because Lowe's and Home Depot were out of the lights. Then I was told it was going to cost $900, instead of the $600. After the lights were finally hung, about half of them didn't work -- part of the problems were the power strips they had used, which weren't strong enough. After repeated calling, I was told that I needed to pay another $300 for the lights, which meant the job was going to cost double what I had been quoted. I refused new addition of $300, as I had already paid $300 more than was quoted. As a result, they didn't fix the lights and about 1/2 of the lights didn't work. Also, they never returned to remove the lights as they promised. In addition, my neighbor arranged for them to hang her lights. They never performed the job and never called her. ' They are unreliable and you can't rely on their quotes.
