The sales rep we had was Patricia Harris and I found her very helpful. She was our main contact. She was nice, she was knowledgeable, she was pleasant and she was very professional. The customer service is fine. When we forget to disarm the system when we get through the door, everybody gets notified including the police and so it is a good service.

I am an existing ADT customer and I will never use them again.I had 2 separate appointments with 2 different sales people. The first one just tried to sell me things and wanted me to sign up to sell ADT.I also had to reschedule because she had the wrong date written down on her side - even thought the 1-800 number said she was on her way. The second time she also had down wrong but I could still make it. After that, I had to call back and talk with a supervisor to have another person come out and evaluate my house. The second was great and really nice. Come to install date and everything we had talked about was messed up. I was supposed to get a new contract with all the details on it but never did and what I had did not match what the tech had with him. He had to call people all day to figure out what to do. Things I was told could be done turned out to be incorrect. The tech though was amazing - he was the only good part of the whole process. - and he is not even an ADT employee! I was quoted the incorrect price on everything. I am a USAA member which is why I use ADT since they offer great rates to military families, but all I have had are headaches. 
When I moved out of my old house I was told to take all of my PULSE items and we could use them in our new house, come to find out that is not correct and we had to re-purchase everything! ADT really needs to have a corporate training and get everyone from the call center to sales team on the same page - I cannot even tell you how many different things I was told and none of them were correct.

According to my wife, the sales rep (Ian Morris) and sales manager Mery Bartholomew, were very aggressive during the initial sales call, and she described Ian as downright arrogant with her in person.  After a number of conflicts in scheduling to complete installation, my wife had to bypass the sales rep due to his hostility with her on the phone.
After we finally had everything completed, we had multiple instances of system not functioning appropriately.  After a couple of more sales calls, I began writing to Mery and Ian and, after three emails, still have no response from them.  AT the end of the day, we were advised that the equipment installed would not work given our system and location.  To make things worse, we had barely a two month warranty on initial installation, and even with respited calls on the same issue, they claimed the warranty expired and that we would need to be charged for visits.
I would NEVER recommend this group.  Very unprofessional as noted and no response.  Just piggybacking off a well known corporate name with no knowledge of their product and no real desire to serve their customer.  Stay local!

UPDATED - 12-20-2014:  AFTER POSTING MY ANGIE'S LIST REVIEW, I WAS CONTACTED BY A NATIONAL SERVICE REP WHO PUT ME INTOUCH WITH REGIONAL MANAGER.  THEY WORKED EXTREMELY HARD TO GET OUR PROBLEMS REVISED AND HAVE RESTORED MY POSITIVE VIEWS OF THE COMPANY.  THANK YOU!

In general, they did one installation incorrectly and it was about 6 months before they came back to fix it. Other than that, it was okay. In general, they were fine.

I've contacted ADT and on both occasions they didnt show up.  Waste of my time and I missed work

We inherited an ADT system when we bought our house 5 years ago. We've had multiple issues with equipment failures. Getting them to actually come out to repair the equipment has been incredibly frustrating as they do not show up or call. ADT subs out all the repair work and they clearly have no oversight or interest in providing quality service.

The technicians really didn't know what they were doing. I had them out three times to fix a problem with the alarm. There were communication issues between the home office and the employees. Next time I will do a little more shopping around for an alarm company.

If your alarm goes off, within seconds, you get a text, a phone call, and an email. They have always been pretty fair. I am sure I could get a cheaper rate but it could be a cheaper service. Based on what I pay, I like the service I get.

We had countless problems with our former security company. That has not been the case with Brinks. On installation day, they had three people show up. Two did the actual installation, and one explained everything to us and answered all of our questions, as the job was being done. We have had great service and individualized attention since installation, and no technical problems.

Brinks Home Security is a good company and they are easy to deal with. If the system ever has a hiccup, they call right away to check and make sure everything is alright. They are very lenient. One time we didn't receive their call to check on a hiccup and they sent the police immediately to our home. We would still use their service, but we recently sold that house.

Brinks took my call quickly, followed up with an estimate for monthly monitoring for an alarm system. Their monthly fees were very good and they explained the operation of the system and the motion sensors. The upgrade was scheduled as soon as a day was set and the technician was on time. He reactivated the system and recoded it, gave me a demonstration and left me their phone numbers. He did a very good job, was caring, polite and considerate.

Brinks Home Security offers a very good service with a great staff. When the alarm is tripped their response time is always under a minute. They always make sure that they system is running good. I have never had a problem with false alarms and I believe that they provide great service and I will continue to use them.

Twice this system has saved my life. 4-5 years ago the door was knocked in. I work in safety-emergency management and know what to look for in security systems. This alarm has many different features such as it can be set to call the police if we're out of town or just call us first. I'm going to have a carbon monoxide detector installed. This system comes with two motion detectors and smoke and heat sensors. They charge per month. Another thing, with the Brinks system the alarm doesn't go off unnecessarily. Some companies charge for repeated non-emergency calls. This system is regulated very well. They charge a monthly fee of $35.95. I don't remember what the initial installation fee was, but it's well worth the peace of mind.

Brinks Home Security activated an alarm system that was installed by the previous owners. They explained the system in detail, and I feel that the staff there were great. Their response time on calls is very good, and I have never had a problem with false alarms. I feel that they are a good company.

Brinks Home Security calls whenever the alarm goes off to see if there is a problem. I feel that their staff is very professional and I like that they come out and check on the equipment whenever we think something is going wrong. They even call to just check up on things to make sure everything is okay. I feel really safe using this company.

I have no regrets continuing the service with Brinks. I have never had any problems with the system at all. When they came to update it, the workers were very nice and respectful. Since the update, I still have never had any problems. I am pleased with everything. I plan on continuing my service with Brinks for years to come.

Brinks Home Security provides good service. I have used them for five years. I had the service transferred over to my new home when I moved. They have always been good. I haven't had any problems. They have good customer service. The bill is included in my escrow account. My system never shuts down because I have a back up battery.

The system was already installed when I moved in so I called them regarding the system and they explained the ins and outs of the system. The response time on the alarms is under a minute. They are a great service to have.

They are a good company on most aspects. They are just what I was looking for in an alarm system. The pricing was on the high end, but the quality is excellent. They did a very good job of explaining how everything works. When the alarm goes off they are excellent about calling right away. I feel very secure with the whole system and they got the installation done right the first time.

They came to our home on time. We haven t had any problems with the alarm system since then. They were courteous, and did a good job cleaning up everything when they were done. My husband paid them, so I don t know how much it costs for the whole service.

I am satisfied and everything is in working order. I never have any false alarms or anything like that. The people are great. They are friendly and are there 24 hours a day to answer any questions that I may have. Overall the system is in very good working order. Hopefully I do not have to call them for any problems.
