ACS OF TEXAS

If you live in a townhome complex, I suggest that you find out where your outside dryer vent is. The ACS people arrived promply, but had a problem finding said outside vent. When we found the complex's maintenance person and located the dryer vent, which was on the roof, they must have cleaned out about ten years of dust and lint! It's scary to think what would have eventually happened if this had not been done. After the duct was clean, they attached a new vent hose and made sure that the dryer was working properly. They were super friendly and respectful and I would highly recommend them and having this proecess done on a regular basis.

When the two person team arrived they were very careful to examine everything, to use care to dismantle the hose so as not to break anything. They had a camera on the end of the vent hose that cleaned out the dryer vent hose and I could see exactly where the problems were and eventually I could see that the dryer vent was clear from the dryer all the way to the roof. The camera was transmitting to the computer so I could see every step they took. I felt completely confident in everything they did; they explained everything; I understood why this problem had happened and what it would take to ensure it did not happen again. I also knew what signs to look for that would indicate it was time to call them again. I recommend them very highly and, in fact, have recommended them to everyone I know. None of the single older ladies in my area knew of this danger. If you will read your dryer maintenance manual it says to have your appliance serviced every year, but I never had, but I have never had a dryer that was vented directly up the wall and then outside. Take my advice....call ACS and sleep at night!
