Nolan was very patient and conscientious. The work was done well and the yard has been transformed from a jungle into a nice space that can be enjoyed and be proud of. Highly recommended.

I have two big live oaks in the front yard and Nathan from ACE Tree came over and gave me a quote on the trimming. He explained in detail how the trimming should be done without hurting the tree. He is very knowledgeable about the business and I actually learned a lot from him during the 15 minutes short meeting with him. The only concern is the price as it is higher than half of the quotes I got so far.

I had a huge tree that was diseased and started dropping large branches into my neighbor's driveway, as well as on my deck. As the tree was taller than the house and dropping branches, I was concerned about potential damage. I had recently joined Angie's list while looking for an electrician, and decided to see if there was a less expensive option than the !500 Nolan had quoted me. I had already used Nolan in the past and knew he did excellent work, but I thought 1500 for one tree was a lot. I had other tree removal companies come out to the house to give me prices. These ranged from 3800 to 4500 and some did not include hauling away of tree. I felt bad that I had even questioned Nolan's price. He always gives an unbeatable price and does a fantastic job. If you need a tree removed, trimmed or anything else, Nolan should be the first call you make.

I scheduled with Nolan and he said he would be able to take the tree down on Wednesday of that week. I came home from work that day and all that remained to remind me that the tree was ever there was the smell of cedar. I looked for where the tree had been and there was no trace of it. He did a thorough and professional job. I would recommend him to everyone, unconditionally.

Nolan came out and evaluated our trees and gave us a price. I discussed with him my concerns about the branches over the roof and fear of hurricane damage. He said he prunes the trees of all dead branches and feathers them out on the ends so the wind can go thru. That helps to limit the breakage. His crew did an excellent job. They worked steadily, were careful of all our potted plants and patio furniture and cleaned up so it was like they were never there. The trees look great. They are not overly trimmed so we still have plenty of shade. All the dead branches are gone and the trees have a lovely shape to them.

Ace Tree Specialists did good work. He probably seems very knowledgeable, seems like they come out and did a good job and in the event that something doesn't go well, they do their best to correct it and they respond fairly promptly I would say. I would say because he has done multiple jobs, we are satisfied with it, so I would say we were comfortable with his pricing.

We requested an estimate on routine tree maintenance. Nolan (owner) came out and gave us a quote prior to doing the service. He was very thorough and advised on all of the trees on the property. He did a wonderful job and the trees have responded well and seem healthier.

Nolan had already given me a bid for this work on one of the trees. When we decided to have both curt down, he gave us a little break in the price. The trees were approximately 35-40 ft tall. Crew showed up prompted at 9AM and began to cut down the trees, which were quite close to the front of our house. Everything went like clock-work, both trees were down by 1PM; by 3PM the stumps had been ground--with very little disturbance to nearby plants. My husband and I were both very satisfied with the work done.

Nolan was the first contractor I called to give me a quote only for cutting down one tree that was sick and threatening to fall on our driveway and for pruning the large pine trees in our property. After other contractor's came I realized I forgot to ask him for a quote on servicing other trees. Nolan had no trouble coming back to inspect the other trees. He was also very responsive to my frequent questions (over email and phone), given that it was the first time I hired a tree service company. He gave us the best price and offered us the most flexibility in scheduling the job. There was a little bit of rescheduling at last minute, but it was not a big deal to me, given that our job was very small (barely a full day's work for his crew); he simply wanted to have more than one job within the same neighborhood. Overall, I was very pleased with the work his crew performed, they were very good about moving the patio furniture and removing all the debris. I will hire them again for sure!

However, they left a huge mess in the yard. A pile of mulch/tree shavings two feet high was left over a 10x13 foot area. Every other bid included the removal of debris and resodding. When asked to clean up their mess, they gave us a quote of $250, which still would have been the lowest bid if it had been included, but had the additional hassle of waiting a week for the new estimate with the mess in our yard. In the end, we thought the price was ridiculous and did it ourselves, because we didn't know the amount of work involved. We had to wait 3 weeks for sod because we weren't a major contractor, and this was only after visiting 20 nurseries and making scores of phone calls, and 4 hours of wheeling the mulch/dirt mixture to the backyard where it remains in large piles. I would not use them again. I don't like "surprises."

Our neighbors called Ace for the estimate. They came out promptly and provided us with a written estimate and answered all of our questions. Their bid was lower than another bid we received by approximately $800. The work went off without a hitch. They were on time, very efficient and friendly. They removed the tree and ground out the stump all in one day. We would definitely use them again in the future!

Very professional. Clean up excellent. The guy that trimmed the trees was an artist. He follow the curves of the limbs and the trees look beautiful. I had asked to leave as much shade as possible and the did an excellent job. A++.

He is a great guy. He is the owner and has been around for a long time. He is very experienced and answered a lot of questions that I had before doing the work. He was on the side while they did the work. I had several quotes and one of them was for $1700. They turned up when they said they would come. I would use them in the future.
