Ray showed up as scheduled and immediately knew what the problem was and had the part on his truck. He replaced the defective part and tested the system. He had also asked be before he came out the age of the system and serial numbers. He left me know it was still under warranty for parts and handled with the manufacturer. He later came back and changed out because the part was not right factory part - at no cost. First visit done in 20 mins and 2nd in 5 mins.

Over the past two years, A-Plus Mechanical Services has done two inspections of our HVAC units (2). As a result of the Spring 2014 inspection, Ray called to my attention issues with one of the existing furnaces, as well as the plenum modified during replacement of the A/C evaporator Spring 2013. He took photos to illustrate the various issues, as well as showed me what could be seen in the attic. As a result, we had Ray install a new furnace Fall 2014. We were impressed with the speed / workmanship quality of the furnace installation, the clean-up, and the detailed documentation. The cost was reasonable and over-all value 5-star. AC inspections are very thorough. They use a 26-item checklist and provide recommendations for substandard components. These inspections are also a good value.

Everything went according to plan...from start to finish.  I have been using A-Plus Mechanical for almost 3 years now for regular maintenance checks on my system each spring and fall.  I cannot emphasize enough the professionalism of Ray Serenil, the owner.  Ray began with providing 3 different quotes for systems ranging from "good" to "better" to "best".  He provided these quotes based on my my home and my personal circumstances, knowing I plan to stay in my home for the next 10 years.  He did not push for the most expensive system.  He pointed out the benefits of each one and why he was recommending the middle quote.  He went above and beyond to discuss everything I wanted to discuss to feel comfortable with the decision I was making.  He spent an extraordinary amount of time answering every question I came up with and helping me understand the different recommendations so I could make a sound decision.  This was a huge expense for me...one that I had planned for at least the last 2-3 years, but it was still a stressful decision for me.  I tried to make the best and most cost effective decision for my situation and Ray was a tremendous help.  His crew showed up right on time and he was in and out throughout the day monitoring their progress.  His crew was dressed appropriately for the very hot and dirty work ahead and were respectful, polite, and very conscious of keeping my home and property clean throughout the installation.  His lead man has been with him for many years and that gave me a lot of peace of mind about the actual installation.  They finished as planned and Ray came back to make sure the final work met his own standards of expectation, had them make a small adjustment for something he found that he didn't quite like, and then completed the paperwork with me.  All the paperwork was in order, just as we had discussed...from the inital quote, to the financing documents, to the certificated needed for the tax rebate.  It was all there and all in perfect order.  All I had to do was sign everything.  It was a huge benefit to me that he has financing set up with Wells Fargo...the process was very simple and efficient.  I have spent the entire summe worry-free for the first time in 3-4 years, knowing I have a brand new system installed by someone I trust implicitly.  It has been working fabulously all summer, as I would expect.  I have already seen the benefits of lower monthly electricity bills even though I am on average billing and have only had 3 1/2 months on my new system.  I believe the monthly bill will continue to drop over the coming months and I will see the full benefit next summer once I have 12 months with the new system.  I would very highly recommend Ray and A-Plus Mechanical for any AC / heating system repair work or installation.
