1st Rate Inspections LLC

We bought a house last month and had Raymond come out in late June. At first everything was perfect, everyone responded fast, inspection was done on time and the report that they provided was good. Raymond found some minor points that we asked the seller to fix before buying. When we moved in though the first day we noticed water coming out of the floor and the wall in a closet with an access panel was soaking wet. When my husband opened the access panel it was obvious the AC drain line was not connected to anything and was draining directly to the wall! It was obvious Raymond had never opened the access panel because the paint immediately came off the wall when we did (the wall was so wet) and if he had opened it he would have caught this automatically. We immediately call in a repair man and they are astounded this was not caught during inspection. No problem though, right, they have a warranty. I have filed a claim and their warranty will not pick up the phone or answer emails! My new house is now in pieces with the flooring / walls and baseboards pulled up and fans and dehumidifiers all over the place. This is likely going to cost around 5k to repair! And the warranty is nowhere to be found. Actually, I'm on the phone on hold with them right now and it's been 20 mins and nobody picks up. I would not recommend this business to anybody.
