My house is about 25 years old and the water is hard.  Evidence of hard water was everywhere - the white film on the glass from using the dishwasher, the white t-shirts not looking very white, the mineral deposits around the faucets, the toilets staining every few days, etc. I knew how water softening would help but I was also looking into possibly getting a whole house water filter as well since we wanted to save money on buying water and I know that my water has chlorine.  I knew every water softener equipment works the same but I did not know much about the water filtering piece.  After a visit from the salesperson, I could tell that he really believed in the Hague Watermax system. We were able to negotiate a price that I was comfortable with and the installation of the equipment was effortless.  Andrew the installer did an excellent job with the install and after about a month of use, I can really say I feel and taste the difference in the quality of my water.  What I love about the Hague Watermax system is that the softening and filtering is done in one tank unit and the other tank is just for the salt pellets so the equipment is relatively low profile and looks very sleek compared to those "helium" style tanks that other softeners use.  Plus, I noticed that it's able to achieve the soft water without using much salt. One thing that did scare me at first was when I searched the internet for Hague equipment, there were some negative complaints about Hague but from reading and looking into it, no one ever complained about the equipment but complained about the dealers selling them or servicing them.  Based on my personal experience with the system, the Hague equipment is top quality.  The dealers that sell and install Hague equipment can be good or bad but Residential Water Services is definitely a good dealer to work with.

The carbon was replaced and system put back just the way I had it. Andrew also explained that it is fine to use salt pellets instead of potassium as was going straight into the drain and not the grass. This will definitely save me long term.

I noticed there may be an issue when there was a stain appearing in my toilets which is not normal. Since the carbon has been replaced, no more stain. I have had the WaterMax system for over 8 years and have been very happy with the low maintenance and no issues.

Very prompt and knowledgeable. Came out at night and took the time to answer all our questions.
Great presentation with parts and pieces to back up what he told us.
Previous company was too cocky to come out and acted like if we didn't know anything we'd go elsewhere.
Glad we did business with these folks.

The salesperson was on time. Very knowledgeable.  Not pushy.  He really believed in his product.
I was going to get 3 estimates.  Instead, after he left,  I looked up information on the web sites of the other
companies I was looking at.  I could compare much of the equipment through this means.
Their water softner is made to be able to be installed outdoors which is what I needed.

I had paid about the same amount for a Culligan about 4 years prior and it broke, wasn't made to
be outside, they sold it to me anyway.  I feel this is better equipment, I feel like I wasted the $3,000
I spent with Culligan.  I wish I had know of this company then, however there was no Angies list
that I knew of 4 years ago and I went with what I thought was the best company.

Acquisition / Installation experience was above and beyond expectations.  Vendor was prompt, professional and very knowlegable as to what my specific water situation would require.  Did not attempt to oversell products and actually idenetified a number of previous owner installed options that served no value.  End result was absolutely fabulous water at a price that was very fair.

The experience was an absolute pleasure and exceeded my expectations.  The representative (the co. owner in our case) spent quite a bit of time analyzing our water situation and making what I felt was a proper equipment recommendation.  I did not feel pressured to purchase equipment that was more than my water required.  Upon agreeing on the equipment, the installation was on time and went exactly as planned with water results exactly as promised.  It's unfortunate these days that so few vendors can actually deliver what they promise.  In the case of RWS and my installation, I could not have asked for the entire transaction to go better than it has and I truly believe they will be there to support  my installation if the need arises.

The gentlemen who came out to do the installation were on time and had everything delivered as promised. I have been pleased with the work that they did. Everything has functioned and worked out as promised. They have the best value for the price.

I am very pleased with the handyman that installed my water softener; he was on time and did a very nice job. This top quality system has a charcoal filter that takes out the chlorine and other chemicals. The system was put in our garage and a handyman that Residential Water Services sent out did the installation work very efficiently.
