I was very pleased with this firm. Kurt Dohman answered innumerable questions and always kept his appointments. His crew was punctual and worked quite hard the job. They integrated well with the elevator installers (which is a must) and overall I was quite pleased with the job. For this job I was 100% pleased with their work.

We got them because we were having an elevator installed, they were the crew that was sent by the elevator company. The way our house was built, we had to build a small addition to fit the elevator. While they were at it we decided to have them build an extra addition. The crews were very irregular in showing up. Often didn't show up and showed up late. Would show up at about 10-11 take a 2 hour lunch and leave at 4 pm. It was almost impossible to get Kurt to return calls or check on them. They were unsupervised most of the time. Almost every single thing they did had to be redone. Caused other damage to the house. Some areas we had to sheet rock several times because we would find leaks they created because they couldn't find leaks originally. One thing that was positive, Kurt is a visionary and could create a solution to problems, but a lot of his workers were incompetent. Subs were okay, but the regular crew was probably only qualified to build elevator shafts. He told us he was going to get permits and he never did. They had to shut us down for 2 months. He is a charming guy, but lies a lot. I do not recommend them.
