Description of Work: Asked Montoya to provide estimate for kithcen cabinets. Cost was al little higher than other bids, but seemed much more quality oriented. I decided to go with this company and working with Texas Veterans Land Board for payment. They refused to accept the contractual payment schedules and would not support a 10% 31 day hold on a 10K job. Waited until the last minute to decide they "were not comfortable" with how I did business even after I explained it is common under a VA loan.or contruction loan for the lender to set up payment schedules for work completion and ensuring no liens are placed.
