Overall experience was questionable and stressful. A company that claims low price and quick turn around met the low price, but took almost a month to complete. The end results are what counts. The camera was repaired at the price stated and in received good working order. i will use them again. Now I know what to expect, I will be more prepared mentally. I am a professional photographer. I need my cameras to work. I have backups, but they are older models. When my prime camera goes out for repair, I am a nervous person. Digital DSLR Cameras are not cheep. Having repair done for modest price and trusting the company to do it right is a learned experience. I used Sony Repair Services out of Conn. once in the past. Didn't like that experience at all. This company in Texas was a shot in the dark. Not complaints on the Better Business site or any other site. No real internet finger print to be found. A true gamble even after talking to the phone rep. I placed insurance on the shipping and said a prayer. I sent the camera out March 3th. Received the repaired camera April 5th. Besides not finding any information on the creditability, or referrals, of this company. I did have issue with their response time to my emails/ phone calls/ web repairs status reports. I sent me camera USPS 3 day rate. They sent a email five days later telling me it had arrived a day ago. Analysis was being performed and the repaid would commence soon. Three days later I received a email saying the repaid was in the workings. We will provide tracking >information as soon as unit is out of evaluation and has been boxed and labeled. >Thank you, >Nelly Hernandez >Customer Support Representative After all this time my camera was just now entering the repair shop. Two days later on March 31st. I received this email. >This email will serve as confirmation that your camera has successfully been repaired by >Teleplan and has been shipped back to you. >Confirmation of Order Details: >Work Order# : XXXXX >Customer Name : XXXXX >Camera Make : Sony >Camera Model : Customer Service >Camera Serial# : XXXX >Your UPS tracking number is XXXXXX To Track the status of shipment $102 repair compared to $350 from Sony. Was it worth it. Yes. Sony was worst.
