Texas Quality Drywall and Painting

Edgar, the owner, came and looked at what I wanted painted. Mainly touchups and shelf painting. He suggested power washing. I got a price in a few days. The bid was for another property that I do not own. I told him and Amber (his secretary, I guess) that was not my property. I kept getting price revisions for someone else s property. Finally, I got a bid for my property. Told him the price was way too high. He cut the price in half. I later realized he had simply eliminated painting the shelves, something I needed done. We kept texting back and forth, trying to agree on what would be painted and what it would cost. He offered to do some power washing. We kept negotiating on price. No price or services included was ever agreed upon . One day Edgar called and said his guy was out there power washing. I was not home. I never agreed to any power washing as we had not finished negotiating. . Like I said, we were still negotiating. Naturally, I never expected work to start until we agreed on items to be included and price. He started talking very fast and very loudly. I kept telling him to slow down because I could not understand him. He kept yelling and talking fast. I told him I sensed he was angry but I could not understand what he was angry about. Then he hung up. I had taken pictures of the supposed work that I never agreed to. One is a wiping of my porch. Clearly it was not cleaned. The other is the deck still full of bird droppings. These were taken AFTER the supposed work . Amber sent me a bill for $2,500.today. Absurd amount. For power washing that was poorly done? I sent copies of these pics and told her I had never authorized anyone from their company to do any work on my house. She said if I did not pay the $2,500 they would put a lien on my property.

These guys, and girl (coordinator) did a great job! Looks beautiful! They even repainted an area that I didn’t like the color. Professional and trust worthy! Good prices too!

Incredible job preparation and work ethic! Job preparation: it is true that at least �� of a paint job is the quality of the preparation. The masking, drop cloths, removing of switch plates and lighting fixtures are easy to short-cut, but we have all seen that kind of ���rush job��� show in the end result when a window is painted shut or a baseboard edge is sloppy. The preparation that this team did blew us away. Our job required large patches of sheet rock work to take care of some house settling that we had not even noticed. Not only were baseboards well protected, they were then touched up with fresh paint. Every fixture was removed and wrapped. The end result is a level of detail and craftsmanship that is unusual today. Work ethic: to be honest, our job started later than we expected it to, which put us up against a major time crunch with the moving truck arriving. That was frustrating in the beginning, but the team recovered with an extra large crew and some very long days. They more than made up for the delayed start and any miscommunication we had regarding the original time-line. There was a very sincere effort to make us delighted (more than satisfied) and a strong sense of pride in their work and reputation. We strongly recommend Edgar and Texas Quality Painting.
