Tom and his daughter/partner Michelle were absolutely wonderful. I needed to get my taxes done ASAP in order for our son to file for FAFSA (college) scholarships. We were on a tight timeframe and they called me back the same day I emailed to set up an appointment. They also accommodated our schedule by seeing us at 6pm. Our taxes were filed within a day! They also prepared our sons taxes in that short time and the price was extremely affordable. I would recommend Tom and Michelle without reservations. Our family will continue to use them from now forward.

Mr. Tarrillion was recommended to me by a friend, and from his reviews on Angie's List, I decided to contact him. I began questioning my using him because initial contact did not happen for about a week. When Mr. Tarrillion did contact me he explained and apologized for it taking so long to return my call. We had a brief discussion about what I was needing and set an appointment for the following Saturday (which is great because I work.) Mr. Tarrillion met me at his home/office and was very professional and answered some concerns I had regarding an estate and then took my information to prepare my taxes. Mr. Tarrillions office contacted me when the taxes were ready to be signed and I again made a Saturday appt. and our business was complete. I will use him again because of the convenience of scheduling appts and you do not feel rushed, and he take his time to answer your questions.

He is a real professional but has a very down-to-earth approach. He is extremely knowledgeable, keeps up-to-date on the tax code, and sends us information during the year to prepare for tax time. We like that he has an office closer to us in Castroville, and that he has hours on Saturday by appointment. His tax packages are polished and complete. We do call him during the year with questions and he is always very helpful.

Tom explained every detail of the completed tax forms so I would be able to interpret the results. He simplified the payment method of my quarterly taxes which previously has been a headache for me. He is knowledgeable and professional. He always has someone review his completed tax returns to verify his own procedures and results.

We found Tom Tarrillion on Angie's List in 2007. We had a not so good experience with a tax consultant in 2006 for our 2005 taxes. So in 2007 we searched for a new tax consultant and found Tom. We liked him so well we went back this year and I referred two people to him this year and they are pleased with his work. Tom is an expert and extremely professional. All our tax information was orderly and neatly put together in a folder and labeled. If we wanted to make tax payments throughout the year, he printed us forms so we could do so.

Overall, Tom did a very good job. I went to his home office to give him all of the necessary forms and I explained that we had just moved to Texas this past year and had a lot of questions on what was deductible and what wasn't. He took the time to explain everything in detail. It took Tom about 3 or 4 weeks to complete our forms, which was ok, since we actually owed money on our return and it was still completed by the final filing date. We tried to do our taxes ourselves with TurboTax, which normally is pretty good, but decided that we should get specialized assistance since we had a lot of deductions that we weren't familiar with. In the end, Tom was able to save us approximately $500.00 off of the TurboTax total. When my wife and I met with Tom for our final meeting, he took a lot of time to go through the entire return step by step and answer all of the questions that we had.

Outstanding! Took the time to review all my business expenses and made suggestions for planning for the next tax year. Explained the hows and whys, demystifying the business income tax process. Later learned he has also performed contract work for the US Military and the City of San Antonio. Professional, courteous, and very reasonably priced!
