Steve was hired to fix all the electrical problems with my commercial buildout. He was my savior! He worked overtime to get me up and running and was very responsive to my calls or questions. I wish every contractor was this honest and hard working. I will use Steve for all of my future commercial or residential projects. Awesome guy!

Steve is extremely experienced so he was able to come up with creative options to save time and money. He is also highly communicative and very responsive, which is a rare trait in contractors. Loved working with him.

Everything went very well. The lights provide extremely good lighting and we couldn't be happier with our ceiling fan. We'd hire Steve again in a heartbeat and plan on it. Thanks!

$500
When I described the work, Mr. Freeman estimated it would take about four hours. He advised that, with materials (a small outdoor panel, a junction box, GFCI outlet and assorted connectors) it would cost no more than $500. His Craig’s List ad emphasized he was a Licensed Master Electrician (TECL 27257), so I was a little surprised when he sent a helper do the project. Obviously Mr. Freeman misunderstood the work, since his helper arrived expecting to dig a hole and cement a 4x4 wooden post in the ground. I clarified that the cemented post was the location of the work, not the work itself. The helper was surprised but happy to find the job significantly smaller than expected. He commented, “This will be easy.” The helper was competent, but somewhat under-equipped  --  I had to lend him a saw, and later, an 18 volt battery. The job took less than 2 ½ hours. When the work was done, I spoke with Mr. Freeman and pointed out that the work took a bit longer than half as long as estimated. He insisted the job still cost $500. I paid the full amount, but Steve Freeman Electric will never work for me again. He advertises “fair prices” and “satisfaction guaranteed” but delivers neither.
