Awful! This is with a doubt the worst excuse of a service provider that I've ever encountered. Service calls were often canceled, double billed us for a contract renewal and were extremely reluctant to credit the funds back to us. The office staff is rude and refused to answer our calls. Save yourself the headache and hassle by avoiding these folks.

I have a maintenance contract with this firm. I could not screw in the aerator all the way. Madison with JB insisted on sending out a tech to adjust and aim the aerator. She FORGOT to mention that there was a charge for this service. Next thing you know, I get an email bill for $85. It's maintenance, not service! See my review on YELP.....more problems with this company.

We contracted this company to inspect a septic tank for us at a property that we are considering buying. We informed them that the tank was down approximately 6 feet per the owner. They were supposed to come out on a Tuesday at 9 but had an emergency and never called to tell us they would be late. We couldn't stay on the property so we had them come back the next day. When they came they located the tank and then informed us that because it was down so far they couldn't inspect it and it wasn't up to code. Then they charged me hundreds of dollars just for telling me that they couldn't do anything. When I called the office to speak to someone about this the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude and accused me of taking out my anger about the tank being so far down on her. I explained to her that I was angry because we informed them the tank was down that far and if they couldn't inspect it then why did they come out and charge me for it. She said it was because they presumed that no one would dig a septic tank that far down out of regulation. So because they presumed the information we gave them was incorrect they charged me over $250 (initially over $330) to come out to tell me exactly what I knew. I do have to say the gentlemen who came out were very nice and polite, however I would never hire this company ever again.

I have used JB Septic for 13 years. They installed our present system. The technicians have always been very professional and prompt. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THE SEPTIC WORK PERFORMED BY JB SEPTIC. However, in the last couple of years I have found the office staff difficult to work with. The person who used to manage the office was WONDERFUL! She is no longer there (retired). The review asks if I would hire JB Septic again...I wanted to answer "maybe", but that isn't an option. In the last 13 years they have become busier, so I had to wait a couple of days for them to come out (B on responsiveness). The "A" I gave in Professionalism refers ONLY to the service technician.

They delayed starting on time to get it done before close and then weather delayed them(per the owner) at the most recent inspection time instead of getting a call about inspection they informed me they had broken the water main and I need to call a plumber to fix it at my cost. Then they brought their own plumber out without telling me and mine showed up when they were burying the line telling him it was repaired. Use anyone else in Bexar county if you can help it

Worked into schedule pretty readily; fill dirt left a bit to be desired-- rock, overall match to terrain, weeds seeded from origin of fill.  Quick to respond to problems with system.  Provided an outstanding briefing of how the system works, maintenance required, and accompanied the awareness with a loose-leaf binder containing all the engineering information for your install-- site, equipment, industry studies of weaknesses and strengths, what to avoid for lowest life cost, etc.
