This is he second time we have asked LAN and Minh to restore the finish on our outdoor surfaces. We couldn't be more pleased with he results. They are prompt, thorough and courteous; in a word, professional. We receive many compliments on the look of these surfaces.

they completed all the work in the same day. I already knew that the resealing would have strong fumes so we didn't plan to stay there overnight. They did a good job on not only resealing but they touched up the color and waxed the floors. They looked much better.

We scratched the floor moving the refrigerator back in. We were sick over the damage! Lan and Min came right back and repaired our damage at no cost. Hire these folks and you will not be disappointed!!

I have worked with the Dickinson's before, and was very pleased with their work, so when I built a new house they were the first to call. My large 2.5 car garage surface was ground, cleaned, epoxied and sealed. My back porch was pattern cut, stained and sealed. The entire job took less than two days, and everything looks great! Lan and Minh are wonderful, honest, and hard working people, and a pleasure doing business with.

The Dickinsons arrived on time and washed and cleaned the concrete floors thoroughly. The floors dried over night and they returned the next morning. We decided on the color and they proceeded with the staining of the floors. They looked beautiful!
the only downside that we were not prepared for was the smell of the sealer. We ended up having to stay the night at a hotel as it was too strong to stay at home. 

Our driveway and porches were etched, stained and sealed several years ago by a company which is no longer in business. When the sealant began to fail we turned to Angie's List to find a quality firm to address the problem. Fortunately we selected a very professional family owned and operated company, Beauty of Concrete. The Dickinsons promptly provided a cost estimate and were equally responsive in scheduling the work once we accepted their bid. They removed remnants of the old sealer, recaulked steps and porch joints, retouched stain in a few spots, and resealed all surfaces; the work was completed in one day, as promised. Pan and Minh are professional, courteous, knowledgable, and prompt. We will definitely use them for similar work in the future and will recommend them to anyone considering etching and/or staining of concrete surfaces.

The Dickinsons arrived on schedule and quickly got to work cleaning the porch, then applying the stain and finally the seal.  They work so well together and did such a great job!  I am so impressed - the porch looks beautiful. I can't recommend them enough.

Two years ago, I had the folks at 'Beauty of Concrete' stained a garage floor, and several other areas.  I can honestly say that after two years there is not a spot of wear.  So when we built the new garage and office, I did not call anyone else.  Their pricing is very reasonable and their work is great.  I would venture a guess that the greatest compliment one can pay to a contractor, is to have them return for another job.  One of the questions on this review is 'would you use them again?'  and I just answered that question.  Hire them with confidence.

They were fast, nice, and expert. When you see the initial stain prior to sealing it looks a little blotchy, but don't worry, after sealing it looks really great! It rained unexpectedly after one of the initial stains which ruined some of their work, but they just took it on the chin and re-did the project without complaint. I really liked them. They know what they are doing and offer excellent customer feedback. Most importantly, their work is really beautiful...

Had my porch concrete stained a beautiful walnut color. Looks great and was perfect for maintenance in an outdoor area while keeping elegant look. Work was done on time, correctly and with no mess.

During the removal of the top layer in preparation of the surface, Mr.
Minh discovered a type of leveling compound applied to the concrete. He
stated that if he etched the surface to simulate the grout lines, the
material may crack and he would not be responsible. Unfortunately, i
was informed of this and quot;afterand quot; the stain was applied and preparation for
the sealant was done. After several minutes, I decided to forgo the
etching. After the sealer was applied, I spoke with Mr. Minh and he
informed me that another option would be to remove the top layer entirely
and stain/etch the concrete below. By this time, the stain and sealer
were already applied. This information/recommendation should have been
provided as soon as the issue was identified and not after the
completion. I now have a very dark and uneven application of stain
(places were the top coating was totally removed). Even though the work did not match the rear patio (no etching), the bill was only reduced by $25.00.
I emailed the company informing them I was unhappy in the way the information was not provided in a timely manner, but the company responded with an explanation on how stains vary depending on the surface material, which i already knew, and how the information was provided in a timely manner, which it was not.
The only reason i used this contractor was because the previous contractor that worked on my back patio was no longer in the business and the good ratings Beauty of Concrete received on Angies list. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this contractor and will not use him for future work.

It was excellent.  Owner came by and supervised the job, everyone was friendly and helpful.  They came by about 2 weeks later and made sure that all was sealed properly, and taught me how to clean the floors.

Beauty of Concrete did a great job on restraining and sealing our backyard deck which was severely faded. They blended the colors perfectly from underneath a small overhang where there was minimal fading to the edge of the deck where the color was almost white from sun and wear - everything is now the same color and looks great. The price was also great and the company was very responsive and able to stain and seal around a trellis with no overspray. I am hard to impress when it comes to contractors and was 100% satisfied with the work and responsiveness.

They were professional. Part of the results were a little disappointing as the flooring is a different color where the tack strips are leading to the carpet. I knew this going in but I did not realize it would be that bad. This is along the edges of floor where the tack strip was before. I picked a yellow and gold color and those areas are tan and brown where the tack strip was. They did the work they said they would and they did it in the time frame they said. I do wish they would have recommended me using a darker color to disguise that a little bit more.

At the consultation, he took his shoes off at the door. Looked at the patio, porch and sidewalk and listened to what we were requesting. Assured us that he could do it. He came on time when he said he would be there. He is very artistic in his work which he does all by hand. Even cleaned the dust off the windows. Very professional. Very friendly. We are VERY please with his work.

I joked with the owner's that they must think they were at the 'house from h***' with the amount of work they did. The front and rear porches had once been covered with tile. When that was removed it left some thin-set, chisel marks, etc. in the concrete. Then, at least two coats of Epoxy floor covering had been applied to the two porches over the years. They worked for four days preparing those two surfaces before the acid staining. When they started on the garage, the acid stain didn't work too well, so they started over. There was never a complaint or mention of increasing my cost. When the work was completed, it was perfect. I had them do one additional area when they finished the initial job. I can highly recommend 'Beauty of Concrete' to anyone wanting concrete staining.

I found them on Angie's List and they did a great job. The price was reasonable and they were quick to respond. Their workmen were very through and efficient. We are going to be hiring them for an additional project.

ONCE I CALLED THEIR BUSINESS AND SET UP THE INTIAL APPOINTMENT, THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND TOOK MEASURMENTS AND DEATILS OF THE WORK WE WANTED. THEY SENT ME THE ESTIMATE VIA AN EMAIL WITH DETAILED
WORK TO BE DONE AND THE COST.WHEN THEY WERE SCHEDULED TO COME BACK TO DO THE WORK, THEY AGAIN
WERE ON TIME AND STARTED THE WORK IMMEDIATLEY. THEY WERE VERY CURTIOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.
AFTER OUR PATIO WAS COMPLETED, WE ASKED THEM TO COME OUT AGAIN AND RESURFACE THE REST OF OUT POOL DECK AND PATIO WITH A NEW SURFACE. AGAIN THE EXPERIENCE WAS TOP NOTCH!

Beauty of Concrete was very professional in responding back to our inquiry, coming to do a free estimate, coming to our home a second time with sample boards, and completing the job. They were very cordial and friendly. During the week we were scheduled to pour, we had abundant rain, which threw everyone off schedule. But the company quickly returned once things dried out. They asked for half the payment up front and did not collect the rest until we were satisfied with the job they had done. We are very pleased with the appearance and the way everything turned out. Highly recommended!
