i gave him a chance to correct structural mistakes and the resulting damage. i was under the impression he would contact me, but he never did.

They came out, gave us an estimate, the insurance person looked it over, and the insurance approved them. One part of our house is two-storey, because of the way it is constructed and they did a thorough job of evaluating it. They did find some areas where additional repairs needed to be done and these were legitimate repairs so they were not just making up things. They did it all and did it in five days as promised. So, they did it on budget and on time. It was messy for the first couple of days but that is normal for that kind of work, there is no choice with that, but overall they were good. We also got a ten-year warranty so that was good too.
