Mr. Conwell responded promptly to my request to assist us with the repair of second floor joists, and kept me up to date on when he could schedule the work, which was sooner than we originally expected. He completed the repair efficiently and with a high level of skill. Additionally, Mr. Conwell explained what needed to be repaired, why, and how he would address the repair at each stage of the process.

Chad responded promptly to my original online request and was able to come by and give me an estimate within just a few days. He was able to schedule the work more quickly than I had expected, which was great news. This morning, he showed up on time as scheduled and started work. He installed hinges, plastic storage trays & pulls on four false door fronts, mounted a wall mount hair dryer in the hall bath, installed under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, lubricated some sticking windows, installed a garden hose holder in the backyard, installed curtain rods and curtains in the sunroom, replace the lockset on the sunroom door, installed hinge door stops on the sunroom door, and added extensions to the pulls for two ceiling fans.

It went very well. After requesting a quote, I was contacted within hours for scheduling an initial assessment. Mr. Conwell was very professional and straight forward throughout the entire process. He went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with the work he had done, and provided detailed receipts to document the cost of all building materials used. I especially appreciated his willingness to work around my very busy schedule. Most important of all, he did excellent work. He removed the spark arrestor, replace the rotted lumber, caulked all gaps, and repainted the entire chimney in a very timely manner. I was very pleased. See attached photos depicting the before and after shots of the top of the chimney.

Chad willingly took on the challenge of restoring the exterior of our home, which was built in 1934. He took the time to painstakingly remove decades of paint, replace rotten wood and even worked to locate siding to match, which allowed us to keep the home's original integrity and character. He communicated almost every day to keep us up to date on the progression of the project, and went above and beyond what we had originally asked him to do. His prices were very reasonable for the amount of time and effort he put in and we were very pleased with the end result. We already have recommended Chad to family members for their future projects!

I hired Mr. Conwell to replace the siding on my shed and to rebuild the doors. He let me know right away that it would be a while before he could get to it, as he was then working on a fairly large job. He kept me apprised of the status the whole way, giving me updated estimates of when he could get to my shed. When he was ready, he did the work efficiently and well, and with scrupulous honesty. He brought in all the supplies and hauled off the debris. The shed looks new again. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him for other projects, when I have one come up.

Chad is a great guy. He shows up when he says he will, calls to confirm and verify without doing so unnecessarily, gives a fair and honest estimate of time and materials, and performs his work with true craftsmanship. His prices are very fair. I'd hire him again without second thought. For us he removed old crown molding and installed new, wider crown molding. The joints and angles are the cleanest and smoothest I've ever seen. He cleans up after himself every day and keeps an organized job site. I highly recommend Chad Conwell. (Note: He did not paint the crown molding and wall, as we're going to do that, so the photo is of unpainted work.)

Chad was very polite, honest and straight forward with how he works. He was excellent at walking me through the timing of each project and even provided additional quotes for future projects. He also gave me a few pointers so I could save money and do a few things myself. We will definitely be using LACO Home Repair again.

Chad is very professional, punctual, and willing to explain the materials and procedures. He will always ask you if you are in agreement on color and so on. He came first to see what I wanted done then he sent a written proposal and we agreed on a start date. He came over for a short run-through a day or two before starting so he could go purchase the materials he would need for my particular projects. He arrived right on time with a pickup full of tools and machines. He works VERY fast and is a perfectionist. I will hire him again with the confidence that he will charge a fair price for good work.

Chad is absolutely wonderful to work with! He did a thorough walk through and listened to everything we needed done. Gave an accurate estimate of time and cost, and was very easy to have working in the house... even with 4 kids underfoot in the summer time!
