Johan and his crew are fantastic. Very reliable. When they say they’re gonna be there, they are there. He kept me up-to-date every single day of a project that took over two weeks. If we encountered any hiccups, his crew took care of them. We really love our new bathroom. He was so helpful in picking out materials and products That we are really enjoying.

I couldn’t be happier with my bathroom renovation! Johan and his team were fantastic-friendly, professional, and tidy throughout the whole process. They finished the job on time and on budget, which is always a big win! My 1950’s bathroom was such an eyesore, and now it’s beyond beautiful and more functional. It feels like a completely new space. I booked my second job with Johan while they were still working on the first. We needed to update our old/outdated bathroom (Pictures 1-3) to an oversized ADA shower, with zero threshold. Johan was the only contractor that understood 100% what we wanted.....and he didn't disappoint!!! We were concerned about having an open ended shower and knew that we had to get the right person hired so that water wouldn't flow out of the threshold into the rest of the bathroom. The shower is done perfect!!!! Absolutely no water even gets close to the threshold. He provided a very clear and detailed oriented invoice. I paid EXACTLY what was quoted. Absolutely no hidden fees or surprises on the backend. He was able to start our project 3 days early, worked Saturday's and Labor Day Holiday to complete the total makeover in only 2.5 weeks. The renovation included, removing old shower stall and tub. Painting of walls, painting/replacing baseboards, remove traditional toilet and replacing with a bidet. Removed old mirror and installed new LED mirror. Outdated light fixtures were removed and new ones put in place, including light switches and light plates. Additional venting was done since we had a floor to ceiling exterior wall built around the shower. New plumbing fixtures were installed on the vanity and in the newly built shower. Floor tile was replaced in the bathroom. We were very worried about the huge tile we were putting in our bathroom and knew that not just anyone could handle a project like this. They made everything look so simple!!! The grout lines are beyond perfection!!!! Not only did Johan replace the toilet. But he actually showed us all the features of the bidet and walked us through all the controls on the remote. We had 2 shower heads and a handheld sprayer in the shower and he showed us how each of them worked in coordination or separately. He made sure that everything was functioning 100% after the job was complete and wanted to ensure that we were 100% happy. He has the most awesome crew of guys that work for him!! They made sure to keep their work area clean, put up partitions in my bedroom so that no debris would be all over my room. The floors were properly covered so that we didn't have to worry about them. (See last photos). Johan has the best communication skills!! Each and every morning, he would text us to inform us that they were on their way to the house. He would meet with us each morning, in person to go over the details of what they would be working on for the day. At the end of the day, he would confirm what time they would arrive the next day. His employees are so friendly, professional and made sure to respect our home while doing their work. Johan even included additional items, for the renovation, that weren't included in the quote at no additional cost! We honestly can't say enough good things about Johan and this experience. He is so honest, the best integrity.......we would 1000% recommend him in a heartbeat!

Johan and his team did an amazing job in my home office. They put in sconces and recess lighting that look incredible. They did exactly what they said they would do and showed up exactly when they said they would show up. He stayed in great communication with me and was very clear about his quote upfront and stuck to it. We even walked through some other projects that he quoted me and plan on working with him again for other projects around the house

Everything about my experience was positive! Johan and his crew worked tirelessly to tear out and build new bathrooms in a week! Both bathrooms gutted - they found mold, termite damage, electrical problems, and occluded plumbing. They tore out Sheetrock and replaced it and made our bathrooms pristine!! We are 100% happy with Handy Mustache - So much so that we have already talked about new projects with him!!

I highly recommend this company. They were efficient and professional. The job was completed in a timely manner and we are extremely pleased with finished product. We will be using this company for future projects.

We misstepped in the attic and needed a drywall repair on the ceiling. The Handy Mustache was prompt in responding and repairing. Weâ ve had difficulties with others not showing when they said they would, but Johan kept us informed and told us when people would be by (and then they came!) I was worried youâ d be able to see a repair was done, but they repaired the drywall, applied drywall, and painted the entire area. You literally cannot see a repair was completed. It looks brand new.

They did a great job turning our vision into reality! Would absolutely recommend.

I recently hired them to redo my 70s style mini bathroom and they did a complete overhaul with expanding my bathroom into the attached closet to give me the space I wanted. So glad we went with Johan and Handy Mustache for our kitchen project! We got all new counters, backsplash, electrical, and sink setup. They were done in 4 days and it turned out beautiful! Our house is 110 years old. Nothing is easy or normal when you work on this house. Johann has an eye for design and the experience and team to make it happen. They did a great job.

We had a wonderful experience working with Johan and his team. He communicated when they would be here and were always on time. He was clear in the cost and time frame the job would take. They were easy to work with, kind and respectful. The shower turned out so beautiful and we have more space and storage than ever before. While they were here our kitchen sick ended up falling in. Highly recommend for your next project! Johan and his team completed a full remodel on a secondary bath due to a shower leak. Every day he would communicate who would be at the house, when they would arrive and what they would be working on. He would always show up on site to verify the quality of work and was constantly double-checking clearances, dimensions, alignments, terminations, and functionality of all bath components. Proper preparation was completed such as leveling, blocking, and waterproofing. Tile installation was well executed as they minimized undesired cuts and aligned fixtures/niches to desired joint lines. Schulter trims at door casing, niche, linen cabinet, and upper tile were nice finishing touches. As a client I felt I got his undivided attention, and he treated the job as if it was his own. I will add that I have a strong design and construction background, so there was a familiarity with the entire process. This job took about 2 weeks, and I did have to wait about 3 months from the date of quote for availability. Well worth it! Couldnâ t be happier with the results.

Johan and his crew are the Absolute Best! We needed to turn half of our garage into an office / guest room and reconfigure our pantry and we got several estimates from various local to Fort Worth companies and Johan was #1 every step of the way. From the basics of being on time for the estimate and delivering the estimate not only within the week time frame he said but 2 days early, to always communicating every step of the way was just amazing. He even anticipated our questions and gave answers before we could ask. I was extremely comfortable the entire time and trusted them with every step and they did not disappoint. His team is incredibly hard working and sweet and really take care and pride in their work. This was our first project of this magnitude and we were not sure what to expect but everything was incredibly smooth from start to finish and we love our addition and new pantry. We will be using Johan and his team in the future!

There is so much I can say about Johan and his team, ALL VERY POSITIVE. That said, I just said it ALL, every experience from the first introduction to Johan in our home, to the hand shake on the last day of completion (our last face to face) was not only all VERY POSITIVE, but an extremely satisfying feeling starting with the customer service, and of course to the actual work performed. Sure, I could write more specifics, but really, I think all that needs to be said is, you are doing yourself a GREAT disservice by not at least meeting with Johan. If you do, I believe 99.99% of you will indeed hire him. I also believe 99.99% of you will be extremely please and happy with their work. Johan and his crew treat your home as if it were their own home in all aspects. Yet, they are very conscientious that is is in fact your home, your happy place. He was very knowledgeable in regard to the repairs. Step by step instruction and supervision. Pointed out repairs we missed.

Great company to work with! We had them remove an unused garden tub, and replace/expand our current walk-in shower. They also replaced the toilet, laid down new flooring, and painted the bathroom. This was a major project for us, and we are very pleased with the results.

Johan and his team were amazing. It was a major project and they could not have been more helpful throughout the process. By the end of it, they felt like family. Their work was superb. We have already hired them for another project. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

It is very common for our fire alarms to go off when we cook, which is very frustrating. So in order to fix the situation we got a new microwave with a convertor vent on top and had a venting system installed to shoot the smoke out through the roof. Additionally, we added lights LED strip lights to our cabinets. Shortly before our minor kitchen remodel was scheduled to start we added a kitchen remount as our sink decided to detach from our counter. Overall my experience with Johan was awesome and would highly recommend Handy Mustache! Johan even took my bulk trash from another recently finished project!

His crew was always on time, showed up every day, and completed all work in a timely and workmanship manner. Johan is very professional and honest and always made sure we were satisfied with the jobs at hand. It was a big job and took a bit longer than originally anticipated, but I appreciated the fact that Johan was always there to make sure things were done and done correctly. His workers are professional and respectful of our home and belongings. Johan is also very hands which is even more of a plus and was always available by phone or in person to answer questions.
