Ecovolt Electrical Services,LLC

I contracted and paid this company to install a 36 kilowatt standby home generator and they fraudulently installed a smaller 25 kilowatt system. This was discovered recently and the owner of Ecovolt, who was the contact, salesman and project manager for this transaction, was notified of this discovery. He has not responded. This company has moved addresses multiple times in recent years, their old phone numbers no longer work and they keep changing their website address. Now when you click on their website link in Angie's list, a different company comes up. I'm starting to now understand why. This company betrayed my trust and the public trust that comes with a state license. The system they installed is insufficient to power my house and barn in the event of a power outage and this was definitively shown to be the case. I have had nothing but problems with this system.

DO NOT USE ECOVOLT!!! I used them spent $10,000.00, he gave me 2 years of maintenance, which equated to 2 oil and filter changes. They came out the first time after 3 months of phone calls to get them to come and do it and threatening to give a bad review. they finally came. I have camera’s aroound my house the first time he didn’t even change the oil but said he did. When i checked my camera’s and i called him out on it he came and actually changed the oil. Then he overfilled the oil by 2 full quarts so when the generator came on a week later for the weekly 10 minute exercise it was smoking so bad my neighborhood was full of smoke. He wouldn’t come and fix it so I called another company Cantwell Electric. They fixed it and gave me a bill for $195.00 to fix it with the diagnostic on the bill. I called Dale Calhoun/ Owner never answered so I emailed him and sent the bill he said he would pay it NEVER PAID IT!!! Dale Calhoun is a joke don’t believe what he says he will out right lie. I’m permenantly disabled and small business owner myself, I don’t know about you but anyone can sell a product but service after means everytthhing to me especially a promiise in writing!!! He completely lied about the service after the sale!! When I say he I mean Owner / Dale Calhoun. Like Comment Share

Excellent!! Could not have been better!! These guys are professional, reasonably priced, and just some good folks!!

Awesome. They took care of everything from the concrete pad installation, to mounting, wiring and testing the system. They even hooked me up with a great propane dealer for my tank. The customer service was top notch. Dale kept me up to date on the progress the whole way. And there were no surprise charges at the end, which is always a welcomed touch.

It was fine. They got everything done, they did what they said they gonna do, I'm very satisfied with their work, and I'm happy at the end.

It was excellent. They were very friendly, what they quoted me was what they charged me, and they were quick.

They hit my budgetary number. They were very good with communication on every level. They completed my job quicker than expected.
