About us
After serving as a Tarrant County Appraisal Review Board member for the maximum term of 6 years, Cheryl Thomas knew that she had to do more to help home and business owners save money on their property taxes. As a former Tarrant County ARB member, Cheryl was able to witness first hand how frustrated homeowners were when they were unable to get the results that they deserved. Armed with a background in accounting and her experience as an ARB member, Cheryl Thomas founded TEXAS PVP in 2010 to help home and business owners. Although TEXAS PVP quickly grew to be a very successful company, we have remained a relatively small firm that remains dedicated to serving our clients. We believe that our "artisan approach" to the protest process has allowed us to have a closer, more intimate relationship with our clients; thereby, offering them in-depth representation. We want to be more than just your tax consultant, we want to be your advocate! We have a passion for detail and winning, so we have tailor-made our protest process to suit each of our client's specific needs.
