Building New Plumbing From Scratch Whether you are building a new home or commercial property, you will need to hire a plumber to assist you in making some decisions about your building’s plumbing system as well as construct the systems. When building a home or office from scratch there are many factors to consider, and a professional plumbing contractor from Lasiter Plumbing is more than happy to discuss your needs with you. With more options than ever, trusting a licensed plumber is now critically important. Finding the perfect plumbing fixtures isn’t just about picking out the most aesthetically appealing faucets, shower heads and other equipment. You will need to put together a budget, consider the functional needs of your space and think about what design elements will complement your space. For instance, if you are building a commercial property such as a restaurant, the strain placed on your plumbing will be much greater than building a home for a family of four. Generally, commercial properties will require much larger, more powerful and more durable plumbing appliances to meet the increased demand placed on them by the amount of people using them. You may even want to think about installing low-flow toilets in your commercial property to help save money on your utility bills every month.

I noticed a small amount of water leaking from my water heater so I called Lasiter and Lasiter. They were fairly prompt and arrived about two days after I put a request in. The tech took a look at my water heater and determined that it needed to be replaced. I was very happy when he said he could replace the water heater the same day. So he did an estimate and it came back at $1650. The water heat replacement was around $1300 and the rest was due to some code issues they had to do as well.
I figured this was a little high but wanted it replaced same day so I agreed. I found out later from a buddy of mine that these replacements can be done for as little as $900 if you find the right plumber. So I was not happy that I over paid but happy with their work and how fast they completed it.
An inspector had to come out and check the water heater to pass code. He found that I did not have a carbon dioxide detector and wouldn't pass without one. Lasiter and Lasiter agreed to install one for free.
Overall, they seem like a great company and did good work. My buddy that told me about pricing is from Lubbock so things could just be more expensive in DFW. Either way I am sure there are cheaper options out there.
"Thank you so much for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with our pricing. We are very up front with our rate and feel that if you were to shop around that we are usually on par with or cheaper than our competition. Please keep in mind we warranty our workmanship and that is factored into our pricing. We pride ourselves on providing quality service at a fair price."
Made an appointment for an estimate for leak and other small jobs. Day of the estimate (week after making the appointment), got a call 45 minutes before he was due at my house to cancel saying that it was too far for them to come. I would guess the distance was 20-25 miles.
They should have told me up front that it was too far or at least done me the decency to call earlier than they did. I had to take off work in order to be home for when they were supposed to show up. I think they just didn't think the job was going to be worth their while.
Still have a leak that needs to be addressed.
"This was 100% our fault. We had a communication error on our end and there is no excuse. Our #1 goal is customer satisfaction and we dropped the ball on scheduling this job. We did reach out to Ms. [Member Name Removed] offering to fix her issue at a significant discount to try and make things right. We've made some changes to ensure this never happens again. - Lasiter & Lasiter Plumbing"
