C C FLOORING

The work completed and we began to use the shower. After roughly a month we noticed that the floor on the other side of the shower wall was showing water damage. We investigated and confirmed the leak was coming from the shower and contacted CC Flooring. They came out and stated their belief that the problem was with improper caulk. That explanation didn't make sense to us but in the spirit of coopreration - we allowed their attempt to recaulk. As expected, this solved nothing and the leaking continued. CC Flooring came back out and stated that they must not have properly caulked the first time and wanted to try again. We refused and stated our believe that there was a leak behind the work they did. CC Flooring did not agree but at our insistence they removed a couple of pieces of tile to reveal a crack obout 1/4" in width in the waterproofing. CC Floringstated that this work was pre-existing and not their responsibility. We reminded them that this is the specific area where they were working and where they specifically assured us there would be no issue. We even produced photos of their people doing the work in this specific area. They stood by the fact they were not responsible which initiated our having to find another contractor to fix the fix. We proceeded to request a refund from CC Flooring which was refused. At that point we contacted our credit card company and disputed the charge, providing detailed paperwork and photos. CC Flooring attempted to refute our statements but with all of the photo evidence we provided the credit card company found in our favor and we were able to reclaim our funds from CC Flooring.
