Blue Diamond Pest Services

Was on-site about 2 1/2 hours.  Sprayed fence for termites and around foundation for fire ants.  I'm happy!

I used blue diamond pest services in april 13 to do inspection on a new home i was purchasing. rene used a cool radar like tool to look for termites located in the walls. He did find active termites in the home in one of the bathrooms while doing his inspection. i was able to get the sellers to pay for repairs and warranty before closing. At the beginning rene was very professional and courteous. about 5 weeks after moving into the home however, i was cleaning the master bathroom shower and a section of wall fell out- and termites came rushing out. the wood studs in the wall had been eaten all the way through. i called rene about the issue- he came out and retreated the area...i asked while he was there treating-how he could have missed such a large termite infestation-especially since he located termites along the same wall in another bathroom...he stated well these things happen, sorry. He left in a hurry. He stated that the warranty that the sellers purchased was a re-treatment warranty only and that he was not responsible for any damages. i felt like the damage was negligently missed during the initial inspection and since it was discovered so soon after the initial treatment, i was asking for an agreement to be reached. i did not get any response. I called the texas agriculture commission and filed a complaint. Erica G. came and inspected the damage, and although she did not say if this could have been spotted--she told me that she was going to speak with rene and urge him to come to an agreement regarding the situation. She called me after speaking with him, and gave me her contact info. i was to keep her posed on the situation- she said she wanted to know if he contacted me. she followed up with me numerous times wanting to know if he had contacted me, which he had not. I feel that their could have been a reasonable compromise reached in this situation, but instead he decided to avoid the issue all together. I feel his behavior was unprofessional and i would not recommend his services to anyone.

Excellent service - Rene took time to explain everything. Has this neat machine that shows inside the walls rather than only relying on external damage. We are going to use his services for ongoing pest control at our new home.

My experience with them was very good. I bought their warranty. I called them because I found damage. A technician came and treated the windows. He had a little left over of the chemicals, so he treated as much as he could. He gave us some advice on what to do. He was very nice.
