Overall, a really good service call. Prompt and courteous technician. No issues reported (so no expensive fixes!). There was a trip charge.

Had an initial hiccup with scheduling but the 2nd attempt was successful. The troubleshooting was spot on. Turned out the furnace blower coils were very dirty and the condenser unit coils were dirty too. It was $75 for the inspection. The repair estimate though I thought was a little high ($900). I opted to spend the 2-3 hours to clean it myself and I now have cold AC in the house.

Matt is an excellent technician, who is punctual, polite and professional!! I am an RN, so I got a kick out of his "description of work"; they read like well-thought nurse's notes. I will always call Ed Johnson's A/C and Heating!

The technician performed one of the most extensive checks I have ever had on my A/C systems.  He had to do a lot of work that had been overlooked by other companies which caused him almost double the normal hours needed for  a regular checkup.  The initiall service call was included in an annual maintenance agreement.

Called into Ed Johnson AC & Heating, they arranged for a next day visit because I had to drive into the area on short notice. They were courteous and professional in all aspects. I asked for their opinion on an old LP furnace, they let me know why it was dangerous to use which I suspected. It had not been turned on in about 10 years, I had been using space heaters. Anyway i wanted a professionals opinion and got it, the repairman also checked my AC and validated it was working fine.

The technicians called first and arrived promptly as scheduled. They were very professional, yet friendly, personable, and polite. They did a thorough check of both the indoor and outdoor components of my A/C, cleaned the units, etc. They explained everything that they did. The amount I paid is actually for a year's maintenance agreement with two yearly checks, and priority and discounts on service calls. I was very pleased with the service and price. This is a weekend home and I need reliable service providers that can come quickly when I need repairs.

They arrived quickly as we were headed out of town and leaving young children with sitter for weekend.

 Problem was quickly discovered and resolved before we arrived at our destination leaving children and sitter comfortable for weekend.

I like to think that I am pretty knowledgeable in the heat/ac business as my ex-husband had his own business. The man that came out explained the pros and cons on the type of unit I have (all in one). I asked specific questions about converting it to an inside/outside unit as I have plenty of room to add inside unit. He could of told me that it would be better to have that done (at a considerable higher cost) but he didn't. He said the type of unit I have is fine and does a good job. I will be calling them back to make the repairs within the next few weeks and I will be upgrading with a new unit in the spring with a heat pump unit. I would highly recommend this company and they WILL BE my heating & a/c company as long as I live in this area.

Prompt, courteous, well apprised of the problem,and the cost was reasonable.

They were on time, polite and informative about what they were doing.  I knew we had a leak in a component and they tried to find the leak in the system, however since it was totally free of freon they were having a difficult time finding the leak (a previous company had mentioned a pin hole leak).  The tech communicated they didn't want to have to add freon to the system as the freon was $45/pound and the system would take 9 pounds.  He then went back up and tested a little further.  He found an area where he suspected the issue was and said that replacement would solve the problem.  He checked the warranty on my unit and discovered the coil was in fact still under warranty.  Pulled the coil and showed me the condition of my coil which was very rusty, and the specific area where he suspected the hole was.  When they came back the coil was replaced and the air conditioner worked perfect after coil replacement.  Very satisfied with the company will call them again should any other issues arise.

The two man crew arrived on the date and time promised. The team
listened to my concerns and answered my questions thoroughly. An
inspection of the HVAC system was completed with some minor issues
repaired. An estimate was given which covered all issues and the
proposed cost seemed reasonable. I will use this company in the future.

Back in Sptember my AC stopped working and I was home alone with my 2 week old son and 6 year old daughter. My husband was out of town working. I called Ed Johnson's and they were out the very next morning, on time as promised. I even got a call letting me know they were on their way. The 2 young men that came out were very professional and friendly. They explained the problem and promptly fixed it with parts they had on hand! I was thrilled! They even told me how to clean the unit to prevent the problem in the future. I will be using Ed Johnsons for any of my future ac or heating needs!
