+ -1 moreThey delivered what they promised. There are a few spots that need to sped up a bit but it is great to be able to practice any time. The only thing I would do differently is to get practice putting green flags (the kind that retrieve the ball from the hole) as part of the price. I am old and decrepit and lazy so I ended up ordering some of these from amazon and they don't fit the cup perfectly. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: I wanted a practice putting green made of artificial turf. This was not as easy to find as I expected. I contacted Southwest Greens and someone came out to give me a quote. I got a few other quotes which were a bit less than the SW Greens quote but I was most comfortable with them because they had a local referral (a backyard green you can try out) and responded quickly when I contacted them. After a few delays due to my own back yard projects and weather they started work. Note the description of the process is probably not exact: They first pull up the existing turn and install a raised base (decomposed granite - I think) and cups are cut into the base. They built in some breaks and uphill and downhill spots etc. Then the turf goes on. This is a bit odd because the blades are way too long for a putting green, but this all gets filled in with sand. Then they roll it for a long time to get it to the speed you want. Then you start putting.

+ -1 moreThey laid down a flat artificial surface which looks like real grass. They put on 15 feet wide and about 80 feet long grass surface. Their product beats anything else in the market, as there are few other companies which provide the same service. They were here when they said they would be here and they would call us if something came up. They were very knowledgeable about their product and what they did. I would use them again in the future, if needed.
Description of Work: We used the services of Southwest Greens to lay artificial putting surfaces for golf about a year and a half ago.
