It was about 12 days. The work that was done was excellent. They were very professional and responsive. They had a good selection and we had specific requirements in terms of what we wanted and they met them. They tried very hard to go out of their way to give us options. They came out several times to look at what they needed to do and to see what we wanted. The end result was very good. They moved everything and put them back. When they were done, and after we got the house clean, they came back and made sure the big furniture were where we wanted it. Overall they did a good job. I think they are a little on the high side. We could have gone with someone else and got it cheaper but the quality of their work and the options they provided and the fact that we did not have to worry about anything.

Everything started fine. We found tile we liked, and the price seemed reasonable. The charge for the plumbing work included in the tiling seemed a bit high but I figured that at least Carpet One would coordinate everything rather than me having to do it. Little did I know . . .
I requested a date for installation but never got confirmation. Turned out, after a call to check on things, that the date I had requested was the date the work was scheduled. So far, so good though someone should have told me things had been scheduled. Then the problems started. The work involved tiling two small bathrooms. We used this as something of a test. We have two larger master baths needing tile, carpet throughout the house we intend to replace, and a kitchen floor we intend to replace. Had Carpet One done this job properly then we'd be going with them for all that work over the next few months. Not now!
The tile work took two weeks to complete. Two weeks for two small bathrooms! Carpet One had not ordered the grout, though we had selected and paid for it, so the tile guy had to stop the job and go buy some. The grout he used was not what we had originally requested, so instead of self-sealing grout we got rough, sandy grout. We're going to have to seal it ourselves. We had to make several calls to schedule and then reschedule the plumber's visit--work that could not be done until the tile was down and set. I thought I paid extra to Carpet One to coordinate that sort of thing.
The tile guy was good, but a bit slow. He encountered a couple of problems but solved them and explained that things would be delayed a day or two. He was meticulous, and he fixed things that weren't quite right. After two weeks--yep, two weeks--the tile guy finally finished his job. In less than 30 minutes after he left I got a call from Carpet One asking for payment on the balance, now due since the work was complete. No question about how the floors looked. No apologies for the delays. No comment on the complete lack of coordination between Carpet One, the tile guy, and the plumber. Oh, and they way over estimated the amount of tile needed. I've got over 5 unopened boxes of tile in my garage--tile I paid for but have no use for.

The carpet we had in our house was from when the house was built. So 14 years later it was really nasty. I took my time and received 5 different bids. The prices were all completely different. They ranged from $4,700 to $7,800. We chose Carpet One in Grapevine because the salesman was the one that came and measured our house. Was very polite and informative on what exactly was going to happen. And most of all because he didn't try to pressure us into anything. He just laid out the price, facts , warranty and then left us be to make a decision. The crew that came in was wondering. We had over 1,500 square feet to remove and install. From start to finish it took about five hours. There was four of them and I didn't deal with anything that would have caused me to be alarmed. When the job was done Matt came back over to make sure that I was happy with it and to see what the finished product looked like. I would recommend them to anyone! If I have any other flooring needs I will go straight there.

After the carpenters did their part of the new under flooring for the kitchen and dining room, Carpet One came and installed the new vinyl flooring. They did a fabulous job and were quick and polite.

They were good. They were informative but not pushy. They were prompt and easy to work with.

The initial parts of the sale were superb. I was attempting to match the 2nd floor with the 1st floor laminate. The salesman brought samples and matched them with my existing flooring. After a few other quotes, he was marginally higher. I felt very confident in them, so we contracted with them. We needed to sign the contract, but I don’t have a car during the day so they came to my home, above and beyond. The installers came and were marvelous. The installers were Hispanic individuals and just great! They worked like dogs and cleaned everything superbly. The entire job was beyond satisfactory. I cannot commend the installers enough for the job they did, just wonderful! It was sort of like from soup to nuts, superb! The manager made three trips to my home. I didn’t expect the match to be identical, but it was. The sub-floor is of great quality and the installation was done was very well. I have recommended them to everyone and am not disappointed. It was worth every cent!

INSTALLATION WAS GREAT. HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE QUALITY OF WOOD INSTALLED IN A PORTION OF THE HOME, WOOD WAS REMOVED AND REINSTALLED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
