Giving one star because zero isn’t an option. Barrett came out and replaced 2 shingles and said and I quote I re-nailed down the loose ones. This was 5 days ago. Yesterday more flew off. Called and asked and was told in order for him to come back out to my house there was going to be an additional charge because those weren’t the two shingles that he replaced. Even though he said he re-nailed down the ones that were loose. Literally did not last five days see pictures.

It was fantastic. The communication I received during the whole process. The workers showed up on time. They cleaned up their area. The whole process was wonderful. They were polite. Their pricing was very fair.

The communication could have been a little better as far as explaining the timelines to us but when the day actually came for the roof to be done, the workers showed up on time and worked all day. It took about 2 days for the roof to be done and they did an excellent job taking the time to clean everything up. The owner's son even came back the day after the roof was complete to make sure there were not any nails or trash still around. The gutter guys came about a week later and after discovering that our fascia boards needed to be replaced, Buford gave us some referrals to have it done before putting our new gutters on. All in all, it was a great experience and we would use them again. Maury the owner, has been very attentive to us as well as Ronnie his point person for the jobs.

Communication was very poor. I understand that they were very busy due to all the hail damage, but I consider the lack of communication unprofessional. I brought up my concerns with the main office a couple times and communication from the field guy would improve for only a very short time period. For example, while under contract and waiting for our time slot for roof replacement, we lost shingles in a storm and I was worried the roof might leak. I called on a Saturday, and my call was understandably not returned until Monday. I was told that they would be out Monday or Tuesday. I followed up on Wednesday and it sounded like they were heading my way. I left a frustrated voice mail on Thursday. That evening, around 7pm, someone climbed on our roof unannounced and started hammering. Didn't call, knock or ring the door bell first so our sleeping kids were terrified. Another example - when replacing the roof, they ran an extension cord under our garage door. When they finished that evening, they just unplugged it by pulling the extension cord from outside the house without any concern about what they might damage - I was home at the time, but they didn't ask me first. One last example (following two previous complaints to the main office) - I was assured that they would let me know in advance when the gutter guys were coming, but they came completely unannounced. The work was pretty good (though clean up wasn't fantastic), but the communication was definitely not. The only time they were very proactive about contacting me was when it was time to be paid.

My roof was repaired within a couple of weeks after contacting the company. Maury Buford was able to give me an estimate within a couple of days after contacting him.  He fully explained what needed to be done and provided photos with the estimate.  The work was then promptly scheduled and completed.  I will use them in the future for all roofing needs due to their promptness and professionalism.

Maury came and inspected roof they I called. He was extremely professional and personable, and I was impressed that he informed me that the roof was in good shape.  An estimate for the work was in my email the next day.  Due to extreme rain, jobs were backed up, and Maury kept me informed about delays. The day of the work Maury arrived with his team.  They repaired the roof, cleaned up, and let me know when they finished. Since the job was done, we haven't had a lot of rain, but I feel confident that Maury would return if any issues occur.

We sold our home in Southlake and the buyers' inspection pointed out some possible damage to a portion of decking under some shingles as well as some shingles which needed replacing. Ron Rios came out to look at the areas the inspector had noted in the report, then came out in a few days to do the work. The actual cost was less than his estimate, because there was no damage to the decking. He explained everything that needed to be done, and wrote an evaluation for our buyers. He said our roof was in very good shape, in fact. The company is great in communicating; setting up appointments, arriving on time, calling before arrival. This company was very easy to work with during a stressful time. We had a lot of work done by many trades, updating the interior, landscaping, etc. I choose Buford because our Realtor recommended them, and they have excellent reviews on Angie's List. If I still lived in the Grapevine area I would use them again, but we moved out of state. Next time a hail storm hits North Texas, call this local roofer!

The owners assesed the problem with my existing gutters and sent out the workers who could help me. They have a great integrity and a hang in there with you kind of attitude because I probably asked way too many questions. :) But this job was important to me as the existing guttering from a different company supplied way too much water along one side of my home and the water needed to be more evenly distributed. Never know when a big rain will occur here in D/FW. The son handled my guttering problem and many of my questions. I was pleased about the photos he sent via text that morning, showing the improvements as well as handling my cosmetic concern. I do recommend Buford Roofing and Construction.

Repair to leak in roof following an ice storm. My call was returned promptly, and we received an estimate that week. The work was done as agreed on the scheduled date and time at the quoted price. Bryce was pleasant to work with, very professional and kept us apprised throughout the process. Would definitely recommend.

Maury Buford and his crew were very professional. I was very pleased with their professional manners. They were prompt and honest on everything they told me. Maury Buford came out and inspected the roof to determine if a new roof was necessary. Later Maury met with my insurance adjuster and and they went over every inch of the roof. With his help the roof was replaced and paid for (less my deductible) by the insurance company. I will recommend Buford Roofing and Construction to anyone. I will use them again in the future.

Overall, a very good job. Work was performed at a particularly busy time since a hail storm had occurred about 6 weeks earlier. We had used a different roofer in the past where Mr. Buford was employed and liked working with him so when he started his own business, we called on him.

The house was for sale and an inspection showed the roof needed to be repaired. Buford was selected to do the work. The workers showed up on time, repairs were done, debris was removed, and even removed a satellite dish no longer in use.

these guys did a great job kept me informed throughout the process. i am told by my neighbors that i have the best looking roof they have ever seen. i have been asked by many people who did my roof and i am happ to tell them!!!!

He arrived at my house when I as promised and looked at problem told me what it would take to fix the problem . We discussed amount it would take to fix it. He got on my roof and took care of it.

The crew started promptly at 7:00 AM and they were completely finished before I returned from work at 6:00. The roof was beautiful and I think that the yard was cleaner than when I left. I did not see one speck of debris in the yard. They were very professional. I would recommend Buford roofing to anyone looking for quality, professional work at a reasonable price.

I was very pleased with their professionalism and quality of work. We did a lot of emails back and forth with questions - he always promptly replied. He was honest and did not play the games some roofers play. We just had the big rain aind it passed the test: no leaks! I also appreciated doing business with a good Christian and family man.
