Austin's Irrigation

I’ve used Austin’s Irrigation several times and he’s always prompt and fixes the problem.

Fine. Quite guy. Just got down to business. Properly dug up grass so as to allow plugs to be replaced without leaving ugly scaring that would take a long time to recover.

The problem was identified though he did not have a part and asked to come back at a time convenient for us. A couple of days later the sprinklers wère fixed.

My husband was pleased. Service went went very well.

Called yesterday, he came today. Very good communication, better than quoted price, polite, and professional. He even gave me a few minutes to bathe the kids before he shut the water off. Really nice guy! I will definitely call Austin again.

Was trying to find someone quickly because we clearly had a large leak somewhere. Austin responded quickly and was able to come in on a Saturday. System has been working great since. Will continue to use him.

We appreciate that Austin made time to add us the next evening to his already full schedule when a broken sprinkler head prevented us from using the system. Another company on Angie's list had told us their first availability was in 2 weeks, 2 other companies did not return messages, and a third had a full voice mail box. Austin called when he was headed over and got everything fixed and working!

I bought a home on a acre property and the sprinkler system was hardly even working. Austin did a fantastic job and it was no easy task since I had multiple breaks in the lines and pretty much most of the heads needed to be replaced and realigned. The system itself needed to be replaced. Austin was really great and went the extra mile. I would highly recommend him to everyone!!

We thought he was over priced for what he did. We wouldn't use him again. My husband said it should have been around a hundred. The service was fine. He got the part he needed and came back the next morning.

Austin did a fantastic job repairing our sprinkler system. We had a valve that was stuck on so we were wasting a lot of water. I called several irrigation companies and they were all busy and couldn't get to me for several weeks. Water was flooding our lawn and our neighbor's yard so I had to turn off water to the house. Austin's Irrigation was the only irrigation company that was able to come out the following day. He quickly found the faulty valve and replace it in under 2 hours. To my surprise, the bill was under what I thought it would be. He knows his stuff and was very pleasant to work with. If you have any irrigation problems, I highly recommend Austin's Irrigation. Austin called before he came, arrived right on time, and quickly diagnosed the source of the leak in our backyard. He was able to quickly make the repair and fixed it right the first time all while charging a very fair price. I would definitely use him again, and would recommend him to other members.

Austin arrived the next day as planned. Valve box located and solenoid was replaced quickly.

Don't call Austin unless you want the best ... he sure knows what he is doing, honest, energetic and solves your problems.

I called Austin's and he came out very promptly. I explained where I thought the irrigation leak was and about an hour later he had found the real source of the leak, a PVC joint that had separated, and fixed the problem. I also had a problem with my cheap irrigation control box. He offered to replace it with a new one, but after I explained what was wrong, he fixed the box too. I was super happy that he got my system up and running for a reasonable cost.

We were selling our house and the inspection revealed issues with the sprinkler system on one side of the house. We found this company on Angie's list. He came the same afternoon we called to repair a zone that was not functioning properly.

I called about several non-operational sprinkler heads, and he said he could be out that evening about 7:00. He called later and said he was free and could come earlier, which was fine with us. We walked around the yard noting broken heads. He gave us an estimate which we thought was reasonable, and started work. He found several broken pipes which he was able to repair since he had the materials on hand. The final bill was slightly higher than quoted but since he had to do additional work we had no problem with that. He did a good job of cleaning up the mud and grass before he left.

Austin arrived exactly when scheduled, diagnosed the problem, and went right to work replacing the backflow valve for my lawn sprinkler system. Additionally he added a cutoff valve to bring me up to current code. All the work was completed within a couple of hours. The worksite was nicely cleaned up and sod replaced. Note that most of the $565 expense was for the new parts which were provided by Austin.

He called before he was scheduled to be there and he arrived at the appointed time. He did the work professionally. I thought his price was very reasonable.

Much faster than other companies I used before. Had the right equipment for the job. Very fair price.

I will definitely use this service again. Mr. Austin was a very capable repairman. Only two weeks before I had another company do a system check (with a coupon), had a leak a repaired, and I requested that they make 2 sprinkler head adjustments which they obviously did not want to do. Mr. Austin took the time to make the adjustments and other needed head replacements, lengthened a buried head, replaced other heads that were not right for the spaces covered. I know the cost was more than what he charged.

I was having some patio work done in the backyard and the crew hit my main irrigation line. I called Austin and he made arrangements to come out that day to assess the damage and to determine how the backyard sprinklers might need to be reconfigured due to the new patio going in. He provided a quote and agreed to come back a couple of days later on a Saturday to perform the work. He arrived on time and worked the entire day in the extreme heat to make sure the irrigation was re-rerouted and working that day so the patio crew could start back to work the next Monday. Even though he ran into a few issues he hadn't anticipated, he honored his quoted price. However, to be fair to him, I decided to pay him a little extra for his troubles. I'm extremely pleased with Austin's work and I will continue to call him for all of my irrigation needs.

Austin was terrific. He charged $125 an hour for the first hour and $100 there after but I just needed him for 1 hour. I called him on his cell phone and he came by within a couple of hours...same day service was terrific. He replaced a couple of heads and reset the rest of my sprayers so that they would spray the yard and not the side of the house. He also installed a rain sensor for me ($140) which is now required in Irving. As a Realtor, I know the value of having good service people with a great attitude and Austin ranks right up there. I will definitely recommend him to my clients buying and selling their homes.

It was a great experience working with Austin. He returned my first call within hours, scheduled an estimate for the following day, and arrived promptly on time. After running the system through all zones, he gave me the original estimate, which exactly matched the final price. Once we agreed on the price, he got right to work, raising and lowering heads as needed, replacing multiple heads, and ensuring full coverage. I already knew we had at least 18 heads that needed to be replaced, so it was absolutely appropriate that so many needed to be replaced. Once he finished, he walked me through all his work, showing me what had changed and making a couple minor adjustments based on my feedback of problem areas in the flower beds. He also recommended a change to our sprinkler programming to avoid run-off. Overall - he will be our go-to guy for sprinkler work, and I will recommend him to others!

Great service, great price. Austin put up with my 5 year-old constantly observing and incessantly questioning him like he was glad to have him on the job. He over-came my complete irrigation system ignorance without once pointing out that some of the things I said were stupid. He accurately diagnosed not only my irrigation problem, but a plumbing problem I mistakenly associated with the sprinklers. He called back promptly, and showed up when he said he would. I left in the middle of the job for my son's tee-ball practice, and he did not even complain when he finished before we got back, even though it was after 6 pm. The Bottom Line: If you need a repair or maintenance, call this guy, he is the real deal. He also has an amazing mustache.

This is the second time I've used Austin's Irrigation and both times I was very satisfied. Austin is very professional and doesn't waste time when he makes repairs. I had a leak in the sprinkler system and he located the problem and promptly fixed it right away on the same visit. I would highly recommend Austin's Irrigation to anyone.
