ABC Window Repair

Four months after installation of the huge glass window above my front door a crack appeared from the bottom right running all the way up to the middle of the top of the window. Jose would not replace the window saying my house (which I have been in for 22 years with NO foundation issues) had shifted and he refuses to replace. I have consulted with numerous other window companies even having several out to look at the cracked window and they all say it is their professional opinion it is faulty installation as there needed to be shims inserted. I have also learned Jose did not install some of my windows to building code as he did not install tempered glass where required. I called Olshan foundation out for validation I have no foundation issues and I recieved a report from Olshan that there is no stress on any windows of my home nor any stress on the house itself . I was also told by representative from Olshan that my house is as straight as a house gets. Jose just comments "I am done with you" and he hangs up on me refusing to fix the error in his work. Do not count on Jose with ABC windows to back up his work.

What a nice professional gentleman Jose was. There was no minumum charge. He came to check it out and gave me an estimate to fix it. His estimate was much lower than what I was quoted by handymen. It turned out that the problem was not as he thought but instead a poorly fit frame that was catching on the way down. He then used his tools to manipulate the window so I could close it and lock it. The only fix now will be to buy a new window. I am so relieved to have it locked as I want to save money for a while before I replace it. Since he could not give me a permanent fix he reduced the amount he orignallly quoted me in half. Jose is an honest businessman. I highly recommend him.

Overall, satisfied with the work. Jose was responsive to my questions and returned all of my calls promptly. There were delays in the work due to some miscommunication, which was unfortunate but not a major issue. Once on the job, Jose and crew worked diligently to replace the windows and did an excellent job with sealing and cleaning the windows before wrapping up.

Everything was wonderful. Mr. Angeles was always prompt with answering and returning my calls. He came on the day he promised, and was even a little early, which was great. He took the time to explain what kind of windows I should put in my new home that I am currently building. I will definitely use him in the future, and will spread his good name around.

About 30 minutes late, but called a half hour ahead of time to let me know. Came in, gave an estimate, and performed the work on site immediately. Took very little time. Easy and happy.

The owner came out and gave us an estimate to replace 5 windows originally.
We scheduled the work on the next week Tuesday. They arrived on schedule and replaced the 5 windows. While doing the final cleaning it was discovered that the window manufacturer had not properly cleaned the glass on one window before assembly. It had very noticable streaks that could not be removed because it was between the two panes of glass.
The owner told us that the window would be replaced as it was a manufacturing defect and he would come back to replace it in several days. The next day we found another additional window that had moisture between the two panes of glass (seals failed). We asked if he would be able to replace it as well when he returned.
When he returned, he replaced both the one window under warranty and the additional window.
The total work was 6 windows.
The owner was prompt, courteous and professional. The work areas and windows were clean when he left.

Their prices are very good, they are efficient, and come exactly when they say they are going to come. They are professional and I would use them again in the future.

Good news, it was just to repair a seal on the inside and outside of the windows and they completed the work with ease and professionalis.

Jose came on time for the estimate, had to special order one window, called the morning of the install, arrived on time and did a quick and tidy installation on two windows. I highly recommend him.

I called shortly before noon on a Friday in Aug 2011. He came out the same day to give me a free repair estimate. He was able to make the repair while he was here for the estimate - no second appointment needed! Total time from start to finish was 30 minutes. Job completed quickly, neatly, and professionally. I had a great experience from the time I called Jose was very polite and professional. He told me he would arrive in 45 minutes which he did and completed the very fast. Look no further ABC is the windfow company you want. I called many others and all were more expensive and had a waiting time of 3-5 days. This is the company, I will use when I need a window replaced and you should also.

They started at approximately 8:30am and finished by 2:30 pm. They were hard working, efficient and professional. Cleanup after the job was completed was very good. I had a total of (3) quotes for window replacement and ABC was the most reasonable and there performance matched previous reports from other customers.

We call ABC. He comes out and measures, and within a matter of days... we have our new window(s). Fin. Could not ask for better service.

Called and talked with Jose. He gave me an estimate for the measurements I provided. The price was good compared to other companies I talked with. They sent someone out to measure and ensure the glass replaced would match the top half of the window. They came at a later scheduled date and replaced the glass. The warranty for the replaced glass is 10 years. they did a nice job.

When we bought the house (existing property) in 2008, it appeared that the garage windows leaked due to sheetrock damage around the frame. The previous owners denied that, of course. When rain impacted the house from the east, however, water would accumulate in the garage. I tried re-caulking, but that did not completely correct the issue, as the seals themselves were leaking. I located ABC on Angie's list, called them, and they promptly came out to do an estimate. They were extremely honest in describing how they would correct the leak, reasonable in price, and promptly provided service when contacted to perform the work. I would give them my highest recommendation!
