Window World came out to give me an estimate. I was already familiar with their windows since i had 2 friends who had their windows. On Aug 22nd, someone came out and we ordered 15 windows and a new back door from them. I was told it would take about 5 weeks for the order to be in. To my surprise, I got a call after 3 weeks that my order was in and ready for install! On Sept 15th they arrived to install. About 1/2 way in I notice I don't see a door, so I asked about it. The installer just shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know". I called and come to find out the door wasn't ready yet! So I took a day off of work for a 1/2 complete order! They guys leave at the end of installing the windows. Everything looks great! The windows are beautiful!! I'm going through the house to install all my blinds and I look out one of the windows on the side of the house and I see a mess! The old screen is laying in the neighbors yard, part of the old window frame, a glove, and some of the wrapping for the new window is on the ground! I texted the manager (Trace) a picture of this. At this point I am NOT happy at all! first, only a 1/2 order and now a mess! So, I clean it up and leave to run some errands. The installer calls me and says "My supervisor called and told me we left a mess.....are you sure?" (Yes, he really asked me if I was sure!!!). I explained that I already cleaned it up and threw it away. He says, "well, I have to clean it up or he's going to charge me $150". I told him he is more than welcome to dig through my trash....which he did. Now, fast forward to Sept 27th. I get a call that my door is in. I schedule it for the next day and explain that I need the install to be later in the afternoon, since I can't take the day off and will only be able to leave work early later in the afternoon. It was raining that morning, but was slowly starting to slow down as the day progressed. At 11am I received a call from the installer asking if I was sure I wanted to install that day since it was raining. I told him that I didn't want them coming until at least 2pm, so let's see how it was later. He agreed and said he would call me at 2pm and we'd see how the weather was. At 11:30am (30 minutes later) he calls and tells me I need to reschedule because it might rain and there's plywood in his truck and if it gets wet he'll be charged $800! I just hung up on him!!! I called the main # for Window World and told them I was done and I wanted my money back for the door....this is ridiculous! I spoke with a manager. He was able to get a different installer to come out to the house right then to get the door installed. I left work and when I got home they were there waiting for me. They quickly installed the door and it looked great. Overall, I am VERY pleased with my new windows and door. I am VERY unhappy with the installers! I think it may be time for Window World to take a look at who their installers!!

David Luck was great in giving me a bid and answering all my questions and was able to accommodate my desire for a combination of windows - double sash in most areas, picture windows in my living room and casement windows in the bathrooms. The windows were ordered and installation scheduled without a problem. The day of installation, Travis, Will and Josh were my installers. They showed up on time, were very nice and professional. They did a great job and worked hard all day. Three of the the windows had bent frames so Travis had to re-order those and will need to come back out to reinstall them. There was no hassle about the 3 damaged frames and I did not pay for them yet. Overall, a very good experience with Window World and I think the new windows are great! Be advised that having windows replaced is a loud, dusty and invasive process - so be prepared - especially if your doing your whole house!

Great. My only complaint was the sticky residue left on the Windows. I worked on that a good hour trying to get it off the three Windows.

It went great, only reason not a perfect score is that they day they were scheduled, I received the expected call that they were to be at my house between 10:30 and 11:30. Then about 10:30 I received a call that one of the installers was injured badly and had to go to the hospital. That was fine, wanted him to be ok. My complaint is the field supervisor did a poor job of communicating with me the plan, it took several calls from me and ultimately a text to finally get an idea of when to expect a crew at my house. However, the next morning a different crew of 5 people showed up early and amazingly completed my whole house in one day. They were professional, even helped me with the blinds some, and cleaned up after themselves. Two of the guys spoke good English, so it was very easy to communicate. Very pleased with the results, just a frustrating start. Would definitely recommend them to my friends.

We had an issue with the door. They treat the doors/windows separate. We had to wait 2 weeks and the door was just particle board - still a solid door, fine. We also specified silver hardware; it came with brass. They are now claiming silver is not an option! They were supposed to be here at 9am; someone called the night before to see if they could come at 7am, so I got up early for them and then they still didn't show up till 9am. They did a decent install, but they did not follow-thru on the materials themselves.

It went well from the beginning to end. The windows are good, affordable and attractive. The salesrep, Clayton Huff was the best, from his presentation, to his measure, to the time schedule of everything. He made this a pain free and exciting project for me. He can be reached at 972 877-0116. I hesitated because I had read a few negative reviews and I expressed that to Clayton. He assured me, I went with him and he spoke the truth.The install team was great also. They were professional and efficient. Did not take very long and cleaned up good. Glad that I chose Window World

1st order was completed without any major issue. The only problem was having to wait 6 weeks for delivery after the windows are ordered and then they let you schedule an appointment for installation which was another 3 weeks out (9 weeks to wait is a bit ridiculous). Installation went well, all done in 1 day. 2nd order is a complete disaster and makes me realize why so many people have problems with them. Only 2 windows were ordered. After waiting another 8 weeks to get them installed after ordering, the wrong window was ordered. Instead of obscure glass, it was clear. Yet my previous privacy window had already been ripped out and they install a clear window in my bathroom. They mentioned it would take 7-10 days before the new glass would arrive. 3 weeks later I finally get a call they arrived. Scheduled a Saturday appointment, waited all day nobody called or showed up. Knowing things come up so there could have been a screwup so I let it slide. Get a call on Monday that I need to reschedule. Rescheduled it for the following Saturday. This past Saturday 10/29 I was supposed to get a call between 9-10am from installers telling me what time they will arrive. No call so I decided to call the office at 10:30. They sent a message to supervisor to call back and notify of installation time. No response. Call again at noon. They sent another message to supervisor. Nothing. Call at 2:30..."it is after hours, please leave a message." Everyone was already gone and could care less that I had my appointment blown off. Get a call this morning (10/31) from the supervisor saying I need to reschedule my installation. No excuse was given, no apology, nothing. As if it didn't even bother them that a customer is unhappy. Absolute terrible service, no respect for the customer. The supervisor needs to be replaced along with 2 of the people who answer the phone because they clearly do not know how to do their job. I am sick and tired of having to deal with this company. Full of inconsiderate, unprofessional morons.

It went "extremely well". First, these were one of the few people open on Saturday. Also, because of the nature of the problem and the criticality, they were willing to get the job done in a few days; rather than coming out in a few days to assess the situation and do the job two weeks later. That was very important as we could not properly secure the front door to the house. In addition, they had a reasonable replacement door and assisting in the installation of the replacement storm door. Their staff were very professional, polite, and helpful. I couldn't have asked for better service.

The sales rep came was on schedule in late April. He provided alternatives to lower the cost. He was not familiar with code requirements. I had to inform him after doing the research myself. (WW: train your staff.) The timeline for ordering, manufacture, and installation is way off. He said the process is 4 to 6 weeks. I ordered in late April. I had to call to get a status in late May. The windows were in a local warehouse. (WW: keep the customer informed. Send periodic email updates on the order status.) The first available install date was late June (8 weeks from the order date). (WW: Don't take orders you can't fill on time!) I once again called to confirm installation, only to be told that due to a personal issue, the installer wasn't coming. (WW: Call a day or two before install to confirm arrangements). They offered to come on Sunday - which I can not support. I was told to reschedule, and that they were booked up. (WW: Try a customer first approach). They promised to call back with a solution..... After an hour I called them and was told the installer may or may not be available on Saturday - they would let me know. I asked for a manager, was put on hold, waited and waited, and then they said we'll call you back.. A supervisor called back - they will come Saturday with a different installer. One window was wrong and reordered. 4 weeks later they brought another wrong window and reordered. Now, 4 months later I still don't have the right window. Not an ounce of remorse on their part. I took 3 days off work to support the installation of these windows. Once the deal was closed, I've had to initiate all contact. They didn't offer any credit to compensate for missed work, the aggravation, and the hassles. Best part - they don't clean windows they install. Still waiting for the last window....

The man who came to measure and give us a quote was very friendly and prompt. We thought the cost was a little bit higher than we were told by a contractor who recommended them, but liked him very much so we ordered the windows. It took two and half months to get the windows in, which seemed a little long, but I've never ordered windows before so perhaps not.
Installation of the windows is exceptionally inconvenient. You pick the day and then they say they will call you at 9am the day of with the time of installation so you cannot make any plans for the entire day. 
When they came to install the windows, one of the windows was too large so they ordered another. They called a few weeks later to say the window was in and to pick a day to have it installed.
Again, this is very inconvenient, but I understand somewhat for the initial installation. However, when it is their error, I feel a specific time would be beneficial so as not to inconvenience the customer for an entire second day for their mistake. I had to take an entire second day off of work to accommodate their error.
The day before, I needed to make an urgent dentist appointment for the same day of installation as I had a tooth suddenly abscess. When I called to request either a morning OR an afternoon, she said she could make the request but that was the best she could do - they would call at 9am the morning of installation with an exact time. Ridiculous.
I never received a call as promised at 9am. I called twice and was finally told they would be there between 2-4. The installer finally called at 1:00 and said he would be there between 4-5pm. 
To his credit, I asked if there was any way possible he could be there earlier as I was going out of town that evening and 5pm arrival would put me very behind, he switched around his day, thankfully, and arrived around 2:00.
The installers were all very sweet and professional and did an excellent job. I have no complaints about them, but more about the efficiency of the company itself. They really need to give customers a window  of time like every other company at least a few days in advance, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S THEIR MISTAKE.
The windows look nice, but they do not lock easily when closed.
