Pinnacle Foundation Repair

I had a constructional engineer come out to inspect my foundation and learned I needed 18 piers in the back of my home. After some research of the different types of piers and reviewing 6 different bids their reviews, I chose Pinnace Foundation Repair. It was not the cheapest nor the the highest bide. The reason for my chose Pinnacle was they not only repaired the foundation, but they provided a plumber to check for leaks and had another the same structural engineer company I first used to check my foundation after all work was completed. I'm glad I chose Pinnacle, for they covered the entry way so to limit the amount of dust and dirt within the rest of the home. They cleaned up after themselves and took down all of the plastic covering they put up to protect my walls and fixtures. The work was completed on time and their employees were courteous and respectful of me and my home. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the results.

Pinnacle Foundation completed my foundation repair last week and everything went as smooth as possible. I can't say enough about the professionalism and expertise they brought to the job. I had another company rated A+ on BBB provide an estimate and they had come up with 30 piers and 5 times the cost estimate provided by Pinnacle! In summary, Pinnacle are excellent, very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very customer centric. I Highly recommend them!!

This company is truly top notch and as honest as they come ! I have had Pinnacle (Robby Brown) come out on 3 occasions over the last 2 years to measure and then re-measure (twice) my home to assess for piers in the back and side of my home. Finally, it was time to do it. Robby will always tell you what he thinks - as 2 times before, he felt it was not necessary at that time to place piers. This company from Robby to the 6 or so workers who came to do the job was incredbly professional, thorough and kind. The biggest complement I can give this company is their HONESTY and integrity, which is sometimes sorely missing these days. I had an excellent experience. Thanks guys !

I hired an independent engineer to survey my property, he recommended I have foundation repairs to include 20 exterior piers and 10 "breakout" piers which means they have to take up the flooring inside the house, jack hammer through the concrete, dig a tunnel under the nearest foundation beams and place piers under those beams. I did a lot of research online and sent the engineer’s recommendations to 6 companies that I identified from my research. I received bids from all of them but Pinnacle was the only company to actually come to my property where they did additional testing to address how they would approach the repairs. Pinnacle was not the cheapest bid I received but I chose them because their representative, Jason, was available for me to contact by phone and was very patient to address the many questions I had. They had excellent online reviews and the references I contacted were very positive on the work Pinnacle did for them. I believed in the long run that their solution was the right one for me. The crew came on a Monday with the expectation that they would take 4-5 days. They were as considerate of my property as anyone could be while digging holes under the foundation and jack hammering inside the house. They recommended making some changes based on what they encountered while they were doing the work, they sought and received my approval before making the changes. The crew, led I think by Augustin, finished early and left my property in much better condition than I would have thought possible. They were unbelievably hard working and appeared to me to really know their business. I used the plumber that Pinnacle recommended to do a leak test before Pinnacle began their work; they found sewer leaks and made the necessary repairs after Pinnacle was finished. The engineer I initially hired returned and verified that Pinnacle’s repairs brought my house back well within his expectations. I was very pleased that the largest crack in the brick veneer on the outside of the house almost completely closed. I am glad that I chose Pinnacle to make the repairs on my home. Don’t get me wrong, foundation repairs, especially involving the interior of you home, are a miserable experience, but I believe they were made as painless as possible by doing business with Pinnacle. I certainly would call them again.

Mr. Miguel Chalott, Operations Manager, and his crew came out exactly on the time and date promised. They did some follow-up work as a result of the recent rains and adjusted our foundation. The work was performed exactly as expected and the foundation is back to level, the crew restored the landscaping and cleaned up, and had me inspect. I am extremely pleased with Professional services offered by Pinnacle. I would highly recommend Robby Brown who provided the initial assessment . His Professional Credibility impressed me , H was very patient in explaining every aspect of the detail without rushing into service contact obligation. I had few other companies who inspected my house but knew the instant when I met Rob, I was confident and moved ahead with Contract agreement. Services were performed in an Organized and efficient manner from the initiation of the Project. Concrete cylinders simply pushed into the dirt did not seem like a good long term solution. So we selected Pinnacle to install steel piers. They recommended 12 piers. Their piers consist of two concentric steel pipes (about 12" long) one inside the other. Each piece is stacked and interlocked together. The pipes were then hydraulically pushed into the ground to a depth of approximately 28 -30 foot to bedrock. The pipe columns are then filled with concrete before final leveling and shimming took place. We were amazed to watch the cracks in the brick work and sheet rock close up in just a few minutes during the leveling process . The Pinnacle crew completed the whole process in about ten hours. The crew explained each step of the process and were very courteous. They did it all the digging without ever damaging any sprinkler lines and then did a thorough clean up. Highly recommended.

Chris Wood was awesome and thorough. He understood and evaluated our concerns and made sure everything was okay. He was very professional, punctual, and easy to work with. He did a great job inspecting and performing the survey on the foundation. He also explained why we need not be concerned, and things we can do to make sure the numbers look better on the survey as well. Highly recommended!

What a great experience with Pinnacle. We received three quotes and decided to go with Pinnacle. James Schmidt answered all of our questions and walked us through the process. His crew came out and installed 13 piers in one day. I asked a lot of questions throughout the day, just because I was curious and found the installation interesting. They were more than happy to oblige. The house is level and the problems we were noticing regarding our foundation were all fixed.

After significant research on four top-rated foundation repair companies, I chose Pinnacle Foundation Repair. The owner, Robby Brown and I talked several times prior to making my decision. He educated me well and did something others didn’t. He located the under-house foundation beams accurately, which were in slightly different spots versus the engineering report. He contacted the independent engineering company that I hired prior to company selection, and they were pleased to adjust the plan based on his guidance. This helped his fantastic crew do the job right and efficiently. Victor and his crew were the hardest working people I have ever seen. I came to know these young men throughout the three days they were at my home. I am confident that they can handle any repair work effectively and efficiently. They were very nice and appreciative people. Mr. Brown is very fortunate to have these employees. Pinnacle uses only steel beam piers to provide more stability and potentially to deeper depths to refusal than concrete. I liked this idea and gave me piece of mind that we were using the best materials for the job. The two final inspections, the plumbing leak test and the final engineering measurement and review process went very well. The plumbing leak test made me nervous because of the potential to have to tunnel under the house to repair potential leaks. The plumbers that Pinnacle hired were prompt and nice people. Same with the engineering company personnel. Overall, I could not have expected a better performance from Pinnacle. I was especially happy to see that several of the cracks in the internal sheet rock closed themselves up after the operation. One of my doors that was giving us problem closing fits like new now. I contacted Pinnacle because I was seeing some minor issues with my foundation and wanted to get an expert opinion. Justin came out and did a thorough inspection and was able to answer all my questions. It turns out we did not need foundation work but Justin recommended other things such as gutters for our home. He also scheduled a follow-up up visit in 6 months to make sure everything was still ok. Even though I cannot comment on Pinnacle's foundation work, I give them 5 stars based on my experience with Justin.

After finding out we needed foundation work, we called a few companies and pinnacle was our favorite by far. They were very responsive and professional and gave us several options on the repair. The repair was finished in a few short days and the crew kept everything very tidy. Two months has passed since the work and some of the cracks in the walls have fussed themselves back together. We were finally able to finish the painting that we wanted to do! Definitely recommend, had great financing options and very responsive staff.

I can not say how enough wonderful things about Pinnacle Foundation Repair. My husband and I were very skeptic about having a foundation company do a free estimate so we hired a private engineer. We had several quotes from multiple foundation companies. We really did our research. However, the moment I met Mr. Brown I knew Pinnacle was the right choice for us. He was extremely knowledgeable and did not try to sell us anything. He only tried to help us. The entire staff is extremely professional and detailed. I felt like they explained everything step by step. Now lets talk about the product. We needed 25 piers (alot). Most competitors offer concrete pressed pilings only. Pinnacle Foundation offered concrete cylinders joined to double walled steel pipes at a better price. WOW! So happy we went with Pinnacle!

We had a great experience using Pinnacle Foundation Repair. We initially had Chris come for an inspection and estimate and he was very nice, professional, and explained every step of what needed to be done for our house and yard. We quickly received a comprehensive electronic estimate and Chris was easily available for questions. The teams that did the repairs were nice, efficient, and respectful. The crew lead and supervisor explained what to expect each day and reviewed the repairs with us on completion. We will certainly use Pinnacle again in the future, if needed.

I have not used the company, YET. I plan to though! Chris, the inspector who checked out my foundation was a peach. He arrived on time, even though I, myself was late! He was polite, friendly and professional. He squeezed himself into my tiny crawlspace and took amazing and accurate photos of the foundation. He showed me the pics and told me exactly what was going on, how to repair it in detail and what to expect. I had Cornerstone come out several weeks before I called Pinnacle and they gave me a totally different story that would have cost me a LOT more money! I will definitely be calling Pinnacle later this year to take care of my foundation issue.

My review for Pinnacle is not short, it may be a little long, but it is well deserved. First, a brief history. Back in 2019 my wife and I noticed new sheetrock cracks and more foundation movement in and around our house. We have had our fair share of foundation repairs over the 25 years we’ve lived in Carrollton. We have had our foundation repaired three different times by two different companies. We had piers installed outside as well as inside. We now know our area is known for its expansive soils; Carrollton is in what is called the “Blackland Prairie” region having the so called “Black Gumbo” soils. No matter how we repaired the foundation, or how many piers were installed or adjusted, the cracks just kept coming back. This gave us doubts about the foundation repair business in general. We also discovered our “Lifetime Warranty” for our previous foundation work was no longer covered because the company went out of business. Not sure what to do next, we hired an Engineer for a professional opinion. His conclusion was not so good news. He recommended a full underpinning of the entire house, this meant new piers outside around the house as well as inside. He also said the previous piers were not deep enough and the concrete cylinder piers used before are unstable and were probably failing. He said this total “underpinning” repair could be cost prohibitive. My wife and I struggled with this news, trying to figure out how we could afford such a repair. We quietly delayed getting something done, hoping somehow it would just go away. Meanwhile, we could see cracks in the bricks and most of the doors inside wouldn’t close all the way. We even thought maybe if we move, we will just take the highest cash offer to sell our house and we could go somewhere else. About that time COVID hit and the housing market went crazy, we decided we would stay put. Now we thought it’s time to do something. Our engineer gave us names of a few foundation repair companies for estimates. Pinnacle was one of the few he recommended. We had estimates from five different companies, all of which was a bit overwhelming. Some suggested we move out of our house for the repair, and some were even a bit pushy trying to get our business. But when we called Pinnacle, we were impressed when we knew we were meeting with the President and CEO of the company, Robby Brown. Our first impressions of Robby were professional, straightforward, genuine and honest. We told him moving out of the house wasn’t an option for us, so he quickly, designed a plan for his crew to install the piers he needed while we could use our Kitchen, Breakfast Room, Master Bedroom/Bath and backroom, that was almost half the house! He needed 18 piers to be installed inside the house, and 31 piers outside around the perimeter of the house, this was a big job! Robby put us to ease when he assured us that all this could be done. Surprisingly, Pinnacle’s cost estimate was very competitive and even lower than some of the other estimates we had. Robby said the repair would take around 8-10 days. My wife and I had to think about how to get this accomplished and still go about our daily lives and work schedule. We knew we had to pack up things like lamps, décor, furnishings etc. but we could put all the boxes in the available backroom and closets. Robby said his crew could help move some of the heavy stuff and furniture out of the way, so they wouldn’t interfere with the repair area. All things considered, and we did consider everything, we thought that Robby and Pinnacle was the best fit and choice for us. So in September (2021) we decided to go ahead with this big project. The first thing that happened before any work started, Robby and Jeff LeGear, the Project Manager for the job, came out to verify the locations of all the slab grade beams under the house. They used a state-of-the-art X-ray digital scanning device or a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) that can locate concrete grade beams, reinforcing steel, cavities and voids under the slab. This allowed them to see what was really going on underneath. Robby made some final adjustments to the pier layout based on the GPR data before work began. The following week, Jeff came out with his crew. Jeff was knowledgeable, experienced and very personable, he took charge of the job and kept everything running smoothly. Preparations were carefully done covering the work area with plastic sheeting, even isolating our living areas with plastic at doors and openings. This was done inside and out, protecting our lawn and plantings outside. Adolpho, the pier installation foreman, had his team working efficiently and precisely digging and setting piers. Jeff and Adolpho had the job finished in 8 days! After the repair, the Pinnacle crew took great care of the clean up process, carefully removing plastic sheeting, rolling carpet back, making sure things were back to normal. This job was big, it was not easy for my wife and I, but Robby and all of his crew, made us feel at ease, and we knew we were in good hands. The most important thing is trust, meeting Robby the first time, somehow, we knew we could depend on Pinnacle. After the repair, reading the final engineer’s report, the numbers looked amazing, we knew then this would be the end of our foundation worries forever and no more repairs! Pinnacle, by far is your best bet with any kind of foundation repair, big or small, they will take care of you no matter what. Thanks to Robby, Jeff, Adolpho and Miguel, for a job well done! Pinnacle came in corrected our foundation and install a french drain system. Pinnacle was very responsive to our needs and addressed all of concerns. The team that came out to do the work did a fantastic job and worked very very well together - Finished right on time!
