My swimming pool started losing an inch of water a day, quite a bit for the winter months. I called the company that had done restoration work for me previously. They had someone come out and spend several hours trying to locate the problem, with no luck. They then referred me to Mark Giesing. He specializes in locating pool leaks. After his first visit, he'd narrowed the problem down to the spa at which point he was able to stop the leaking. It took another visit for him to identify the location of the problem, a broken pipe under the concrete deck. He has a standard fee for locating leaks - $350. This was a tricky one to locate and he really earned it. Just over a week later, he came back, cut a hole in the deck and replaced the cracked pipe. He showed me the damaged part and did a good job of explaining what caused the problem. He did not repair the hole. That will be done by the company that has done previous work on my concrete pool deck. The cost of the labor for the repair was $600. Parts were $64.95.
Description of Work: He located a leak in my pool and repaired it.
