J-P Painting & Repair

Called Joe up to get a quote last Wednesday. He visited my house on Thursday and again on Friday since I didn't leave the back gate open for him. Gave an initial quote of $1475. After agreeing, he began work Monday morning prepping the house for paint. He continued prep on Tuesday and primed. On Wednesday, he completed the paint job. We did agree to add an extra $100 for him to clean out the gutters since my old pine tree left them very clogged.
I've hired Joe to paint my closets before and would consider hiring him again for other painting/carpentry work if I don't feel up to completing it myself.

I called Joe up to check availability yesterday afternoon. He was in middle of lunch but called me back 15 minutes later. I explained my needs and he scheduled to come over 45 minutes later to check out the work I needed done and give a quote. He walked my house with me and advised me of issues I could easily handle myself (caulking nail holes) and things my money would be better spent on which was greatly appreciated since I'm on a very tight budget. After a little negotiating, we agreed on the work I could afford for the right price.
He arrived the next morning at 8 and went to work and didn't stop until 4:30. If I have additional work done in the future that I'll hire out, I'll look Joe up again. I am very satisfied with his work.

Joe did a great job, including cleaning up after he finished. We had time constraints with guests coming the next week and he was gracious enough to accommodate our needs. The finished products look great and were done more quickly than I would have guessed. He also offered some very good advice that helped us avoid some mistakes regarding what we wanted it to look like. We will definitely use him again.

We are very happy with the results. Joe Parker, a sole proprietor, is professional and quite conscientious about his work. He circled the house several times to be sure he hadn't missed anything. He got the job done in the time anticipated, and for the price quoted. His clean-up was thorough. We got his name form a reference and will be glad to recommend him to other folks.
