+ -1 moreThis man is one of the nicest, friendliest contractors you will ever encounter. Knowing that my mother did not have a lot of money; Mr. Balllard did a tremendous job. He had to return to Home Depot to get one of the locks rekeyed, because my mom wanted all 4 locks just one key. This over all work took him almost 2 hours. BUT he only charged $ 100.00!!!! Amazing.
Description of Work: Johnie came to my mom's house to replace the front and back door lock sets.

+ 5 moreHe is a black guy who is 67 years old with a lot of experience. I probably got little bit of less quality, but I got more things done because of his prices. He was fairly low on price. So, I got a lot of stuff done, but I probably would have got higher quality if I had gone with a higher priced bid. However, it is acceptable even though it is not of top quality. I am the only one who knows it and probably anybody who comes into my house would not be able to see the little details that I see.
Description of Work: I used the services of JB Skylights & Remodeling about four or five months ago for refurbishing my house and he did pretty much all of it. He installed lever handles on all my doors from knobs to levers. He took all the carpets out and put in laminate flooring. He put in new bathtubs and potties in some new bathrooms. He installed two new mirror closet doors in the two small bedrooms. He installed a French door in my den area and a storm door. He also did quite a bit of trim work.
