+ -1 moreOverall, excellent service for a difficult situation. Going through a slab is messy, noisy, and difficult. We ultimately had to re-route the plumbing line [to replace the one that was broken]. Very professional and stayed until all work (including cleanup) was accomplished. Great service provider---definately recommend.

+ -1 moreA very good experience with Freedom Plumbing. I sent them a message through Angie's List on Sunday and Trent called me that evening, even though they were technically closed. I was able to setup the appointment for Monday. They guys came on time and evaluated the leak and found it was the flange on the toilet. A quick trip to get parts and they had the problem fixed and my toilet put back together. They then went back under my house to verify there was no more leakage. Even though it was a rainy day in which they also had to crawl under my house, I was quite surprised at the lack of mess once they were done. I was very pleased with the work and the price was fair for a job that took a couple of hours. I would definitely do business with them again.

+ -1 moreThis time it seemed to take a lot longer (at $95/hr). Also, he left black stains on my white carpet from something on his shoes. We had to hire professionals to get the stains out.
Description of Work: We bought a coupon for two hours of service to perform some odd plumbing repair jobs around the house the first time. That service was done with an eye on the clock so we would not need to be billed extra. We appreciated that. So we hired them again to change out two faucets in two sinks.

She is hoping that the readers are uneducated, feel free to call home depot their install warranty is the same and they only use licensed plumbers and pull permit and the water heater warranties are the same (the lowest one is a 6 year warranty and last about 10 years) Our rentals are not fixer uppers, I own these personally and the oldest was built in 2000 and are $150K to $450K houses. I typically do not respond to these but when the company is rude then they need to be reviewed because that is what we are paying for with the angie's list memberships that we pay. I am male and do not at all sound otherwise on the phone even thou she refers to me as a female. Too many plumbers/plumbing companies to work with a rude one, just think what it would be like if there were any real problems. You choose but you are now in the know.
Description of Work: I contacted this provider outlining the job, the located etc and received a bid-I needed to change the water heater at one of my rentals houses. 50 gallon natural gas etc. They provided a bid of $1351.26 to replace with the lowest cost water heater that cost at home depot about $400, change the flex line, ball valve and on the first floor with not obstructions. The cost of all that is about $500 with the $50 permit and takes about 1-1.5 hr to do the work. I could have just ignored the response but I responded that having 20 rental houses, having built residential houses and office condos that I thought the bid was high but thanked them for the bid. The response was interesting, she (Tabatha Mason-she put her name in it) attempted to insult me. She stated that she was on the low end as most chage $2K,whcih I have never seen a bid for that much in my 15 years of doing this but that is not the insult it is that she states that "I understand if it is not what you can not afford". Not sure where that came from when most charge $800-$1K. Think about it, Homes Depot which is high retail changes $288 plus the permit $50, plus parts which you will not need much then the water heater. That gets you to about $800-$900 all in.

+ -1 moreThe plumber came to install a piece of equipment, but couldn't get the spigot to tighten. It continued to get loose over time, and I was lax in paying attention to the 30day warranty. They came back out to correct the problem and then re-charged me for the cost, with a discount.

+ -1 moreFreedom Plumbing was very good on the job they did at my house but they weren't so good on the job they did at Pastor's house for which I used one of my coupons but they were kind enough to come out and attempt to work but it's freezing pipes they did not fix, I wasn't really impressed with what they did and that it was pretty cold and miserable so I can understand. Pastor's house was a mobile home and they just played with it for a while and couldn't fix it and they basically wasted my money and my time. At my house, they did an excellent job there and they were very good about it.

Description of Work: We were in the middle of a bathroom renovation when we discovered the builder had put the shower pipes too far out into the floor for us to install a mud and tile pan instead of the fiberglass one that came with the house. Freedom Plumbing cut the copper pipes and soldered new sections that ran from the floor up into the wall the way they should have been.

They came out and were able to replace the leaking joint and installed a new faucet. This is the second time I have used them in the past year and will use them again. + 0 moreFixed both baths, Downstairs toilet, could not hook up dishwasher and explained why he could not hook up into the counter top. answered question about water heater and explained that the heater was much older then we thought. he had to go look up the heater code to determine that the heater was build in 1995 and would not recommend draining and refilling due to something could go wrong and having to replace the heater. recommended that we do nothing right and create more problems. He also answered all question about how to get hot water to the kitchen sink any faster then now and told us what that a separate heater and give us a quote on cost and labor. he was very friendly and answer all our question. Will use them again in the future.
