Castillo and Sons

Isaac Murillo is not the most punctual person, and unless The first appointment, he didn't even show up for. The second, he was 90 minutes late, and because he was the lowest bid, I made the mistake of going with him. He showed up for the job 2 and a half hours late with two children. The children were his helpers. He did a small amount of work in the attic and, although he was supposed to fix a leaking skylight, he told me to buy the supplies necessary at Home Depot and then he would come out on Monday and fix it up. A few hours after he left, I noticed all the damage to my wall that was done when he was trying to carry in the 2X4s. He said he would take care of that Monday. Monday, I texted him around noon and he said he was in a meeting and one of his workers called in. I texted asking if he wanted to reschedule, but he never got back to me. I texted Tuesday. He didn't return my text, but he returned my call and said he'd be over after the job he was on. I haven't heard from him since. I told him my major issue was that it was going to rain tonight and tomorrow and I wanted to get the work done before then. I'm really upset. I used Angie's list because I thought it would give me guidance. Instead, it has lead me astray. Please don't use this contractor. It's just not worth it.
