They charged too much money. They came 7 different times and it still will not work. They did not install correctly, then they had to reroute duct, they had to come reset this and reset that and it will still not working. I am not happy and will not use them again.

Sale process.
This was my 1st experience on major home repair outside of original home purchases. I got multiple bids from many suppliers and brands. The experience reminded me of trying to haggle over a used car, some suppliers I certainly was not feeling the warm fuzzy or complete honesty. Bon Air was extremely responsive. put up with my many questions, helped review several options as well as identify any manufacture discounts and rebates that were available for each product option. I was extremely comfortable working with these guys and signed a contract for new high efficiency units
Installation day.
The crew showed up on time as expected and promptly got busy. They put down tarps to protect the home and make a clear path to cleanly take out and bring in new equipment to the upstairs. Overall the crew was very efficient through the removal, environment prep, equipment staging , installation and testing. They team seemed to work very well with each other. They obviously had done this a few times before. Again every crew member was extremely courteous throughout the process and again put up with my many questions.
Post Installation.
After the installation we did have a few follow up calls. There was some issues with the fancy new touch screen thermostats.
A technician was dispatched to the house very quickly with each call. They swopped out the thermostats a few times. The best part of that story - is when the thermostat failed the A/C stayed on and cooled the house to 50 degrees. The old unit would have never been able to do that. Eventually they installed a reliable previous generation thermostat, but will be back with the touchscreen once they work out the problems with the manufacture. They obviously were not quite ready for prime time. I have no fault with Bon Air here as they did everything possible to quickly address the issue, and they also told me upfront it was a new product.
The office staff was also very helpful in following up with all the information /documentation for the manufacture rebates . Like any manufacture rebate - there are rules, deadlines and such. We got through that process and I have rebate check in hand.
Happy customer.
I am glad to have the 15+ year aging freon system gone and new ones in place. They system has been awesome and is significantly quieter. My next electric bill is certainly less, but need more data to fully capture the overall improvement.

The serviceman arrived an hour after I called their office for service, which is an outstanding response. He was courteous and professional and didn't mind answering my questions. This company did a great job in installing my heat pump several years ago, so I wanted them back to perform this service call. I wasn't disappointed.

Went well from initial telephone contact, bid production, service and installation.. Kim's bid was under another recommended business that you highly rate. I gave them both an opportunity to receive our business. All the contractors we gave an opportunity were very professional and each had some benefit. My wife and I decided to go with the business that had the most benefits at the best price. Thanks to Bon Air and all the other contractors we have contacted. A/c made a screeching noise and stoped working. Called Bon Air and they said they would get someone out to day. Technician Alex showed up and said the motor was bad. He removed the motor and showed me where the bearings had gone bad and and shaft was moving around. He replaced the motor and checked the rest of the a/c system for any problems.

From start- on the sales end Kim did not up sell. He helped us choose a unit that was right for my house. Kim educated us on SEER and how that works. Day of job--They arrived 5 minutes early. Very polite. Very assuring. They introduced themselves. They were uniformed. They explained the process of the install. They worked effortlessly and efficiently. Found problems from a prior company showed me the problems and fixed it free of charge. Did take the full day to do the job but they resealed my unit and fixed registers in my house. They also fixed a hole in ductwork from a prior company. I do recommend this company and will use them again when I need a furnace and they explained the 2 stage furnace.

I contacted Bon Air for a quote, and they immediately transferred me to Kim Fuller, the General Manager. He was very knowledgeable regarding Trane components. I gave him the part numbers of the existing units, and he knew immediately that the inside coils were slab coils rather than case coils. All of the other contractors (Tom's Mechanical, Pearson Mechanical, J&S Air, and the company who installed the old units -- Airco) proposed case coils, which would not have fit into the existing space.
I had intended to purchase a Trane extended warranty (10-year parts & labor), at a cost of $600 per system. However, Kim told me that I would not need it, and that it would be a waste of my money (the XR15 comes with a standard 10-year parts warranty, so the extended warranty would have just added 10 years of labor to the existing parts warranty, at a cost of $1,200). He could have made an extra profit by lying to me, but instead chose to tell me the truth. His honesty was really refreshing. Kim was also willing to work with me, to the extent of upgrading me from XR13 to XR15 at his cost, which was several hundred dollars lower than my lowest bid.
One crew (of 2 men) came out on Friday to install the 4-ton unit and a second crew (of 2 men) came out on Monday to install the 3-ton unit. Everything went smoothly. I was even able to pay on American Express (so I could receive cash back on the purchase).
I was impressed to the point of being willing to purchase a service contract from Bon Air, even though theirs is slightly higher in cost than their competitors. Some contractors do not have specific checklists for their technicians. They simply leave it up to the technician to check what they feel is necessary. However, Bon Air states that "we instruct each trained technician to inspect 16 importand items during their visit."

Kim Fuller came to our house and looked at our system. He was very informative and answered all my questions. I had already checked out several other AC companies and Mr. Fuller was the one person who could give me information I wanted and needed. He allowed me to call him back if I had any other questions. When his crew arrived to install my heat pump (total system had to be replaced) they were on time and worked very diligently the whole time they were here. Working with him and his crew was professional and friendly. The overall experience was pleasant it was like working with family. My hat goes off to Mr. Fuller, John, Kyle, Brittney and all those who helped me get a new heat pump.

The company was very thorough in their calculations in order to determine and recommend the size unit needed, in both cases, to cool and heat the house appropriately. I must say that on both occasions, the city inspectors who inspected the installations were very impressed. The one who inspected the installation in my current home stated that he could tell the guys who did the work knew exactly what they were doing and it was the best job he had ever seen. High praise indeed. The company is very fair in price. They make a profit, but don't gouge the customer. That is always comforting. The employees are very courteous and nice to work with. They go out of their way to make sure the job is completed to the client's satisfaction. I can recommend them without any hesitation and encourage you to contact them if you need a job done.

I've used him for 20 years and I would be using the same company again. The price was right at $10000 and I got a $1500 rebate so it was about $8500. I called on them when I was giving up sections and looking at the rental property I was buying. It's a HUD property and they came out that very day which was very appreciative because I needed the quote to make decisions. They have quality products and they do a really good job by recommending the right products. Their prices are competitive. I haven't compared to a lot in the last few years, but I compared them to prices I paid 18 years ago and when I look at it, it's very reasonable. I plan to use them in a month.
