My wife had recommended them in as much as they did a job a couple of years ago. This would be our second time hiring them. They did a great job of painting two rooms and the master bath.

As poor of an experience as you could imagine.  Save the aggravation and pursue another contractor:
2 week project never finished after nine weeks
intermediate deadlines not met
Poor follow-thru on commitments.
short changing on materials
Constant haggling over written and agreed upon job aspects
Constant turnover
total lack of contractor direction to painters
Zero organizational skills
Some days they show up, others not...with no communication

We first contacted them in November '07 and they didn't start the work done until the beginning of '08 therefore not making us eligible for a '07 tax rebate. The work was lousy.

the owner is very nice but they don't stay on schedule or on budget. There were several times they didn't show up at all and everything ended up costing more than anticipated or estimated. I'm not sure what was going on but it was a very frustrating experience. We'd used them as several of our neighbors had and the owner lives in the area.

It was a horrible experience. They didn't show up after time. The people would come over and been like when they did show up they didn't  finish a number of the job they are supposed to. The job they did finish are falling apart right now. They came back over to look at it and told me they would fix everything and then I haven't heard from them again. They didn't pay their contractor because I had their contractor show up in my house telling me that they weren't paid and they were going to sue me for it. They are very shoddy and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I would recommend not to use them. I would not use them again.

I think their quality of work is very good. I do not have any complaints. My house still looks really good and it is over two years. The only complaint I might have is punctuality. They were late or show up when they felt like it. But it was not really, really bad. It was just like pretty much any contractor I have used.

What should have taken 2 weeks, took them 6 months. There were several days they didn't show up. They were unresponsive to our phone calls. I think they were just over scheduled. We were horribly inconvenienced for 6 months. The finished product was very good though and they were neat and cleaned up well.
