We could not have imagined a worse experience. Following a flood in the back of our house, our insurance company hired a remediation company, who then contracted WFS to sand and refinish all hardwood floors in our house. At this time, we were about two weeks away from our due date so time was of the essence, and we were assured there would be oversight on the job to make sure everything went smoothly. On the Friday we were told that our floors were finished and that the movers were scheduled to come the next day with our furniture, we decided to drive over to the house to check things out for ourselves. It's a good thing we did because the workmanship was terrible: 1) they stained over wet spots that were created from keeping the door open while it was raining outside, resulting in very noticeable speckles by the front door (photo 1), 2) they varnished over black electrical tape and other small pieces of trash, including a fly (photos 2 and 3), 3) they did not sand down the corners to match the rest of the floors (photo 4), 4) there were visible brush strokes along virtually every edge in every room (photo 5), and 5) there were areas with very noticeable uneven staining (photo 6). In addition to the poor workmanship, we found that the crew had dug in our bathroom cabinet, pulled out a box of Kleenex, opened it, and left the trash on our bathroom floor. Also, they had turned our dining room chandelier on (which was covered in plastic for protection from the dust), so plastic was melted all over our chandelier bulbs. We called our representative at the remediation company to report the terrible workmanship and asked that she and Kenny Finch come see the work for themselves the next day. We showed back up at the house the following morning, but no one was there. We were told Kenny was unable to come out and see the work for himself and that Andrew, who supposedly oversaw the job, would be out to see it on Monday morning. We called Kenny to the discuss the matter with him directly, during which he proceeded to blame the problems on us (saying we left the A/C on while the floors were drying, etc). When we met Andrew at the house on Monday morning, he did the same thing... he even blamed us for the speckles by the front door and said he doubted the speckles would go away if the floors were redone again. We showed him an example of everything that was wrong, after which he finally admitted that 1) he never came to inspect the work himself, 2) his crew had been working late into the night and did a very bad job, and 3) the floors needed to be redone. So we prepared to stay in the hotel for another week while our floors were re-sanded and refinished. We were told our floors were finished the following Thursday, so our rep at the remediation company scheduled movers to come that Friday. When we got there to see the floors, guess what? The speckles by the front door were gone! There were significantly fewer brush strokes around the edges of the floor. We felt they did a much better job the second time around and were genuinely pleased with how the floors looked. We ended up giving birth that Saturday. Fast forward three months... we noticed a spot on the floor in front of the dresser in the nursery that looked like baby spit-up on the floor. Over the next few weeks, we kept noticing more spots like this appear throughout the rest of the house, mostly in high traffic areas. The problem? The varnish is peeling up (see photos 7 and 8). After we called our rep at the remediation company and she spoke with Kenny, it was no surprise that his first assumption was that we had put some sort of cleaning chemical on the floor that was causing the varnish to peel up. We had not done anything to the floors since they had been finished because we were so busy taking care of our newborn. It was also no surprise that he was not able to come see this problem for himself... and has yet to make any attempt to come by to this day. Thankfully, our rep at the remediation company brought someone by the house to inspect the damage, and he was able to verify that the varnish is, indeed, peeling up due to the pressure applied to the floors from being walked on, as opposed to moisture in the floors, etc. So now we will have to have our floors redone for a third time because WFS could not get their act together. Even though the floors are under warranty, we will not be giving WFS another shot at fixing their mistake. Not only was their workmanship terrible, but they also insulted us multiple times during the process... truly the most unprofessional company we have ever worked with. Please, please reconsider if you have contemplated hiring this company... you will save yourself a lot of headache if you do.

. From estimate to completion, we received a great price, outstanding service, and quality product from WFS. The installers were such exacting workers and proud of their work. Gosh they worked hard and efficiently. Not one single negative do I have to offer. No dilly-dallying around with this company...quick to measure and make an estimate, and then the installation was beautifully done. Fantastic people all around.

We had a wonderful experience. Their prices beat everyone else we looked at, and the quality was so much better as well. Very happy with the company!

The tile guys were a little sloppy as my wife commented about them getting mortar on the carpet and also on the laminate floor which had to be cleaned up right away before it dried.
The second day they were there to install the wall tile. This job went without a hitch! My wife and I are please with the job. For someone who doesn't trust contractor's to do what you ask of them they didn't even leave anything for me to clean-up. It nice that they called before they arrive as it gives you a and quot;heads upand quot;, especially living way out here in the country.

We will probably call on them again to add tile to the wall behind the kitchen counter top as soon as that is complete.
All-in-all we're happy with there work.

I would highly recommend these people. The work they did was very professional and the tile work is exceptionally good. The attention to removing the furniture and putting it back was good. Cleanup before leaving was good. The owner inspected the work at completion.
