We contract with A-Apex to inspect and tune-up of our two units to insure they're running at peak efficiency.  This has helped in diagnosing small problems before they become a major problem.  Most recently, they replaced a capacitor on the oldest of the two units.  We believe this service has extended the life of the unit and will continue to use them in the future.  We feel they provide good service.

It is a long process from electric companies to inspections and it took around 4 months to get it finished and finally get it working. Now I get a federal rebate and the electric company also gives you a rebate.

We were in the middle of a very cold spell. During the night it got very cold. We checked the heating unit and found the fan was not running and there was a noise we could not identify. As soon as morning came, I called AAPEX and told them we needed help. Corey, the tech called me back in a very short time and I explained what had happened, ie the fan was not working. He came out that same morning and took care of the problem. We were very happy to have heat again.

The job HAS NOT been completed ofter 4 weeks and numerous telephone calls. It is always the same excuse and quot; We are working on the permits with the cityand quot;. That is not correct. I checked with the city and the company has not applied for the proper permits to complete the job.

Overall, the company is responsive and they do show up quickly, but my opinion is that it is unethical to ask for 100% money up front before the job is done. This heat and air unit is only 3 years old and this company installed it. It was supposed to be an excellent system, but once again, has a major problem, which is under warranty, but still costs money on the labor end. This is getting pricey year after year. This is my son and daughter in laws house and I have advised them to use another company.
