Chance Electric

Mr. Chance arrived as agreed to and proceeded to remove the old ceiling fan. He then installed the new ceiling fan I had purchased a couple of weeks ago. He worked quickly and competently. I had no doubt that he knew what he was doing. He had the entire job done in probably 45 minutes or less. He is pleasant and personable. Would use him again in the future.

Was able to come out within a few hours after I had called explaining our problems.   Took care of the problem quickly.  He was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.  Would definitely use him again.

He called and came to house, showed his license, etc and looked at the job to be done. It was determined the problem was the light that was bought and he did two other small electrical problems at the house. Made sure the worksite was clean and said to call him if there was a problem and it was all covered in his service call. He was very professional and nice. Rate: A

Mr. Chance was responsive to our request for help, and offered to arrive in the early evening which worked well for us.  He works quickly and confidently.  Very personable and easy to talk to; would definitely hire him again as needed.

Allen is a great electrician and extremely fast. He came out when he said he would. He quoted a price and stuck with it, even though he ran into some issues that took him longer (and that he could not have foreseen.) He got the job done extremely fast and for an extremely reasonable price.

Called Chance Electric to install some additional electrical outlets in some media closets. He made arrangements to come by on a day he was originally going to be off. He showed up on time, did a great job on the outlets, and charged exactly what he quoted. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician.

Allen Chance is excellent at his job and the cost was less that I expected.  He went above and beyond and I will use him again for a project I have planned next month.

Chance Electric gave us a bid and stuck to the amount.  Extra work had to be performed beyond anyone's expectations and the cost were reasonable.  He was always on time for his scheduled appointment. which were usually made far in advance..  He used quality materials and installed the different ones that I purchased separate from the contractor's supply. 

He was pretty awesome. His responsiveness was extremely quick. I called me that morning to ask me what time I was available. He actually beat me home so he was there early. He went in and he looked at what I asked him to look. He said I don't need to repair this, this is something that's really easy. He told me how to do it and he didn't even charge me for coming out. It was really small. He gave me some great advice on some of the things that I was looking at. He was just pretty awesome.

I needed to install a new food disposer. When I started the project over the weekend, I noticed the old disposer was hooked up in a rather unorthodox way. Someone installed an electrical switch next to the sink, ran a wire from the switch to a location near an existing electrical outlet, and then spliced the cable attached to the old disposer so the current was running from the outlet, through the switch, then to the disposer. While this 'solution' did work, I wanted a more professional installation.
I called Allen on Monday. He is located in Gladewater and I am in Longview. He told me he could be in my area in two days. We arranged for him to meet me at my house at 6:00 PM. He was waiting for me when I arrived at 5:45.
Allen re-routed the wire from the switch to the outlet so I can power the top plug on or off and bottom plug is always on. After Allen's work, the dishwasher (plugged into the bottom plug) has continuous power and the disposer (plugged into the top plug) can be turned on and off via the switch.
Total job time was about 1 hour 15 minutes. I was very pleased with the service, the price, and the workmanship. I definitely recommend calling Allen for electrical work.

Prompt, and efficient.  Gave good cost saving ideas, not trying to pad the bill.  Allowed me to help as flunky, No need to hire a helper for the couple of two man items necessary.

Found Chance Electric on Angie's List and the reviews were all good so I took a..."chance" on them.  Turns out Chance Electric is Allen Chance, period.  He talks to you like he's your long time friend.  He really is a nice guy.  He is very punctual, willing to do the work nights or weekends for NO extra charge, something we couldn't find any one else wiling to do.  His price  for all the work he did for us was extremely reasonable.  Doing it myself would have involved much cursing and danger.  So, I'm glad I called Chance Electric.  He was also very honest with us about possible future work, about difficulty an cost.  I will definitely recommend him to others and use him again.  In fact, we've scheduled him to come to our home for more work in a few days.

I had them come out and move (whole new line to new location) the electric line for the AC.  They came out on short notice and charged a fair price.  I had them clean up a little wiring while here and he only charged a few more dollars.  I was very happy with the service and price so I called him back the next week to come out and change my entire breaker panel out.  The existing one was out of space and ALL the breakers were the wrong size (inspector found 20 amp breakers on 14 guage wire).  Rather than fix it all I opted to replace.  They have always charged me what they quoted unless I changed things and the price change was agreed upon ahead of time.  I will be having them out for other work as I complete the house renovation.

He has been very responsive. The price is very reasonable. He has come through on the project whenevery we have needed him to.
