Town Square Floors

The estimate and installation went great. The workers were punctual, polite and cleaned up after themselves. We love our new floor! The only glitch was with the office staff. After we chose the flooring we wanted and told them we were ready to go ahead with the project, they said they would order the flooring from the supplier. We did not hear from them for several weeks. When we called to see what was happening, we were told the flooring was sitting in their warehouse. Why did someone "drop the ball", and not let us know that the flooring was ready and waiting?

Great work and beautiful carpet. The stairs were floating therefore each step had to be wrapped. I️ would highly reccommend this company.

Great! We visited the store and were greeted by Robin. She helped us find the color and style of carpet we wanted. A few days later, Ray came out to measure and give us a price, which I felt was extremely reasonable. The deal was sealed with a handshake. The two installers were prompt, only took about an hour, and moved our large furniture items in and out. The new carpet looks great, and we are very pleased with the whole experience. It was nice working with a hometown, family-run business rather than a big box store. We would definitely recommend Town Square Floors!

Selection process was very helpful and pricing is very fair.    There was no hard sell or hiding of costs to lowball the price and then come back with add ons and changes.    All the details were covered and included once the job was viewed.   I was not even in Texas when this job was done and no one called me with claims of sudden surprises that were going to cost more money.   

The job was completed during the time allowed.   They also  cooperated around another contractors delays which certainly caused them a bit of extra time.   They did not pass blame on the other contractor nor attempt to pass on any additional costs to me.

I have another home in Sun City that is rental.    This was built in 2004 and I have been having tile issues due to some settling, a lot of rain after a couple years of drought, and a low quality installation.    Town Square has been very helpful doing these repairs.  I was very lucky to been left with replacement tiles when the home was built.

Great crew did an outstanding installation and cleaned up after they were finished.  Very professional company with outstanding customer support.  Highly recommend them.

When the estimator came to review the job, he noted that due to the size of the room and the width of the carpet, there would be a seam.  He worked with us to ensure the seam was in an almost hidden location while allowing for minimal waste, thus reducing the overall cost.  The quote included moving all furniture and replacing the furniture when the job was done.  The crew handled our furnishings carefully. The carpet was installed properly, with no gaps and no bubbling. They did a particularly nice job on the thresholds.  We found no loose threads poking up from the edges or corners.  We are very pleased with the service and the price and feel we received a good value for our money. Everyone we spoke with was professional, helpful and conscientious.  A staff member followed up with us after the installation to ensure we were happy with the job.

Phillip came out to take a look at the problem. He was professional and courteous, and was able to get a crew out to make the repairs on short notice (we had movers coming and wanted the floors fixed prior to moving in furniture). His crew was several hours late, however, when they arrived, Javier knocked out the job quickly (he even called in an extra guy to make sure they finished the job that day). The floor looks great - Over all good experience.

The owner himself measured the room and provided options for keeping cost down and giving us best wear and appearance based on the size of the room. Remnants were bound into small rugs for a nominal charge. Installers were great; professional, prompt and they did all of the furniture moving and replacement. This was a great experience overall.

With our initial whole-house job they did a good job with the carpet, but the tile work was outstanding. Well designed and carried out. About four years later we needed them to come back and do some small repair work after some plumbing work required taking out some of the tile. They were quite responsive, considering it was a small job and we live well away from Georgetown in south Austin. They also helped us a third time with a second small job when we replaced carpet in a high traffic area with more tile. Using tile we had from the original job, they tied the "new" tile in with the "old" tile so that the two separate jobs look seamless.

It's now been several years since we needed their services, and while at the time their prices may have been somewhat higher (we did select an expensive tile, however) we have never regretted the decision to use Town Square Floors. The work was top notch.

Ray Bizzell, owner, came to our home and we discussed possible new flooring options. While there, he measured areas so he could provide various quotes depending on our choices.

We visited the Georgetown store and met Ray to look at samples and we took some home to see them alongside our furniture. At the store, we met Ray's daughter, son-in-law, and even some grandchildren. They are a family business and we felt great that with their long history in their business, and family involvement, that they would be there for us if we encountered any problems. Of course, great reviews on this website added to our confidence.

Exactly on schedule Ray's crew, led by Eduardo, arrived. We had set aside any small items that we on our tables, etc.
The crew, before moving ANYTHING, attaches felt padding to all furniture surfaces that would touch our new floors. This is no small task but well worth the delay in the start of flooring. We were aware of neighbors whose flooring company did not pad the furniture - left it to the client - and suffered scratches that had to be repaired. The crew then moved all furniture and began flooring.

About 3/4 of our wood flooring was installed on that first day, with the crew stopping at about 9PM. They had arrived at about 9AM after loading all of their tools and materials earlier in the morning. Hard working  and very efficient. We had the luxury of sleeping elsewhere that night, so the crew was able to just leave things as they were and return in the morning. I would recommend this if you're going to be doing a fairly large job.

The crew returned the next morning, again about 9AM, and was done by 4PM.
Including the installing of the wood floors, new shoe molding, replacing a small amount of carpet and padding, and replacing some cracked tiles, the crew touched every room in our 3 bedroom, 2 bath house.

All in 2 days. With clean-up. And beautifully done.

(By the way - since completion of the work, Ray has ordered and delivered at no charge to us an additional box of the hickory planks. He didn't think we had enough leftovers from the original job to handle any future emergency repairs.)

They were great. My husband and I have crazy work schedules and they really were flexible about our schedules. When they left the house they had cleaned up after themselves and were so considerate and polite

Our adventure started  with a visit to the store were we looked at the large selection of carpet, tile and flooring. I there and then decided that this store is very competitively priced for its materials. When I called for consultation concerning the job, "Ray" almost immediately visited us at home and we looked over the work that I wanted done. He discussed the job with me and gave me a verbal quote that was followed by a written quote two days later; again the price was very competitive. We agreed on a day that the job would be started and the crew showed up exactly at the agreed time. The crew started by removing all furniture and covering all build-ins with plastic to keep as much dust away from book cases, curios, etc. Removing all old carpet and cleaning the floors is a messy job and they were only partially successful in keeping the dust away from the build-ins. The homeowner may consider better protection by installing more secure sheeting or removing books, etc otherwise he/she will be looking at some serious spring cleaning. The crew was as careful is possible and I did not fault them for some of the dust that got passed the sheeting that they had installed. All work was completed in three days and the crew moved all furniture. They put felt pads under all furniture before they moved all furniture back in place. The workers were very careful how they handled everything and they cleaned up every day and at the end of the job. In a word: "left the house in great shape".
We had one place where some minor repair needed to be made; a flaw that was discovered some days later. We received prompt service and were very pleased with the treatment that we received. Also of mention is the fact that no payments for material and labor were madeuntil after the job was completed. We are very happy with the results and we highly recommend Town Square Floors

Arrived on time, installers were quick and moved all the furniture and got right to work,  they worked quietly and efficiently. The floors look fantastic.  The price was as quoted and I will use this company again.
