First of all, there was an offer on Angies List for a sprinkler system checkup that he did not honor. He had no credible explanation as to why.
As far as work performed, he replaced and adjusted several sprinkler heads, repaired a couple of line breaks, and replaced two valve covers that did not stay on. Both valve covers still did not stay on after his repairs. He came back and replaced the entire valve enclosure on one of them for an additional charge. He came back again to work on the other valve enclosure but then refused to perform the work.
Overall, I found his manner unprofessional and abrupt. I will not use him again.

James did a great job. Showed up early, quickly assessed the problem and then fixed it. I forgot to mention that we were on Angie's List until after I gave him the check so he had not figured in the discount. He didn't have the cash on him to give me my discount in cash so he came back 30 minutes later to give it to us, even though I told him to forget it. That is going above and beyond the normal customer service.

James with Top Notch Irrigation and his employee were great! Professional, polite, helpful and knew what they were doing. James walked me through the set up of my irrigation and I walked the yard with him explaining things every step of the way. He is straight forward which I appreciate. GREAT!!! Very professional, even when I had to reschedule due to a family emergency. Called ahead and arrived on time. all charges were exactly inline with the estimate. Would recommend him to anyone!!

James came out to our house in December, 2012, replaced several sprinkler heads and adjusted the system. He said that if we ever needed assistance, to call him. In April, I called him and he spent at least 20 minutes on the phone "walking me through" programming my timer. This was truly "above and beyond" service! We will definitely use and recommend Top Notch in the future!

In my opinion, they were very punctual. They knew what they were doing. He actually checked every single one of the heads. He even let me know he thought the system was off a little bit and he changed the flow. He helped me save money on watering. He returned phone calls and showed up when he said he would. He was very professional. I would definitely use them again.

James and his crew of two were punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. They worked quickly and were completely finished in 1 1/4 hours. James also adjusted my programming to more efficiently irrigate my lawn during the hot summer months. The $231.00 was the amount I paid after receiving 10% off with the coupon from Angies List. I will definitely use Top Notch again in the future.

I called to schedule an appointment for them to come out and check our sprinkler system because it had been two years since we had this done. We were not pleased with the original contractor. The original contractor did not explain anything about what he was doing and why and he left some programming in the system which we were unaware of. This caused us to use more water than was necessary. We were hesitant to call a different company but we knew we had to.
However, the Top Notch Irrigation Rep.,James Wood, answered the phone, was very pleasant and we were able to schedule an appointment for them to come out and check out the system. They arrived on time and immediately began to check out the system. They told me what needed to be done. I gave them permission to do the work. They were able to do the work immediately. They did an excellent job. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors. It is wonderful to find a company you can trust and that does an excellent and professional job. They were very prompt and very polite. They come immediately. They were number one. He also gave a $10.00 discount on some fifty people. He had got the job done on recorded time and off he went.

James gave me a range of 4 to 7 PM, called before arrival, and arrived when stated. He inspected the system, reset the times for more efficient watering, and replaced heads that did not provide sufficient coverage of the lawn. He also fixed a sprinkler that two previous contractors had failed to correct. I would recommend Top Notch Irrigation because of his honest and efficient work ethic.
