Internet out for 10 days thus far. The company has sent techs who can do nothing but reboot modem, problem is in theirs equipment and they won’t replace or repair. Pathetic service

When I priced it out they quoted me 97.00 a month. Now that its installed the price is 157.00 a month. I talked to 4 people trying to get explanation and each had a different story. I feel I was flat out lied to.

We use them because they are the only provider in the area. We have been using them for almost 2 years now. The internet is off and on. When there are issues, they will answer the phone. They are pretty responsive. The installation was fine. They are not as good as I had with AT&T in Atlanta. They seem to have a connectivity issue now and then. Sometimes it's the connectivity with getting on the internet and now and there's a problem where I can get on and I can use the internet and do all kinds of things, but I just can't get to email. They fix whatever the issue is with their server and then it comes back. We have issues with just the internet, not the phone. They have varying packages.

went fine = their internet service is great - the TV service is not so great - they changed the channels just a week or so ago and
didn't tell the customers (or at least us) - when I called and asked for a new channel listing they said look on your TV guide and we didn't have one any more -then they said if you want a new channel list we would have to come and ick it up and I don't (can't ) drive - so the internet service is great but their cable is not so great

We don't' have much choice as to internet providers, so being a captive audience makes it hard to leave a really balanced review. The folks on the phone are usually very nice, but the actual internet service is sometimes spotty.
We have two gamers in the house, and even running a top-tier gaming router, we experience lag spikes, rather more frequently than we like. When we called in a problem with the modem disconnecting constantly, we were told it was probably our router, but it turned out to be the connection into the house, rather than our equipment. However, once that was figured out, it was fixed promptly.
Again, decent company, but I don't know that I'd use them if I had another choice in Georgetown.

Asked the technician about wireless and he told me that I had to go to walmart and purchase it. I had to do everything else for connection. I don't feel that he was very helpful. I had AT&T before and they did eveything.

The installer was very professional; no problems with that aspect of SuddenLink. The price is comparable to others. However, the service is inconsistent. I have to reboot the modem and router once or twice a month because the signal drops. Very annoying, especially when you have devices with a data plan. If you don't notice that the signal has dropped, you can use up your data plan quickly. Unfortunately for those of us in Georgetown, SuddenLink is the only option.

The internet is a little slower every once in a while but not really slow. The cable is all right. We had a problem with the man who installed it. He didn't show up and didn't even bother to call either but he did finally show up the next day or so. When he showed up, he told us that he's an independent contractor. It took him until like 11:00 at night to finish the day before so he had to come the next day.

The alarm is installed in the windows and the doors. They have excellent internet connection. To implement the alarm service and I want to get the response to the internet so I just bundled it together.

I hate them. They are the worst at everything. The last interaction was not the big issue. The customer service is horrendous. I moved here and setup an appointment for them to come. I waited and they never showed up. I called them. They told me they moved the appointment the following day and never told me. When my Mom was here to meet them the following day, her purse went missing. I tried to call and complain and I was connected to multiple customer service people. I had issues with my telephone service getting turned on. I had to talk to about 10 different people trying to get one phone turned on. It was a horrible experience. Their prices are awful and their service is not great. They are very unprofessional. I have had a lot of issues with them. I pay them on a monthly basis for my internet and TV. Their customer service is outrageous. I would advise them to keep personal possessions away, if they call out. They are the only cable providers in the city.

We don't usually have to do anything. We usually make an appointment with them and they'll come fix whatever is not working. It's kind of weird what they do. They have like three different charges because we also have our home phone on here, too. Home phone, internet and cable and it's all together, but it's kind of weird, the way they do it. It's like, for one of them, they have two different billings, like one's like $30.00. And I haven't looked at the bills in a long time, because they're all automated. So I don't know about the price. Internet service is good. It's fast. We have the kind where we have the little box or whatever it is. We don't have dial-up. It's the other one - high speed. It's pretty fast, to get on the internet. Real fast. Usually, yes. The t.v. service is very fast. We have HBO - it does all that. We decided we didn't - you can get additional channels. The one I chose was Encore because it has several different - it's got like drama, Westerns, love - different things. And they give you like four channels on it. So I liked it. So that's what I chose. My husband wanted me to chose something, so I said, "Encore is the one I want." We have all the extra features on our phone - caller ID and voice mail and all that. They always come out and fix everything. I like it. They'll give you a time window and they come within that time window. I have no complaints with them and they look good. It's just really great, all the features they have. I mean, it's wonderful. We like TiVo pretty much. It's really just to record stuff. And you don't really lose it. If something happens to the thing, it's there somewhere. They're able, usually, to bring everything back up. We've had really good luck with them. They have high definition, which is nice. Some channels are high def. That's why the wires cost more, is because we wanted high def stuff. We enjoy watching t.v., for sure. They have a new channel called the Hub. It's so fun. We like it.

So far I have had sudden link for a little over a year know and will be shutting off my service very soon. Besides the DVR box issue, I have also had issues with the internet. Not a company I would recommend.

I find them to be efficient and knowlegeable. My cost for all of their services is about $150 per month, almost $100 less than what I was paying in the past.
