Everything went as planned.

Overall, no complaints, and I would hire Ralph again.

I told Ralph that I wanted a carport that could also serve as potential extra outdoor entertaining area.  He spent a lot of time with my husband and me getting the placement of the carport figured out so that we could all be happy with the outcome.  We had to move an electric power pole and he helped arrange that with the electric company.   There was far more involved with getting a nice carport constructed than I expected, but Ralph stayed on it and completed everything by the date I asked him to.   He even did some extra work, such as smoothing the gravel driveway  leading up to the carport just to make it all very nice when done.   

We worked with Ralph on a prior job when he was with a different company.   I found that he can listen to what you say you want and then draw up a plan for you to approve.   He  comes in very close to estimate and pretty much stays on schedule.   The quality of his work is good.  He does a good job of cleaning up the site when he is done.  

Do have a pretty clear idea of what you want.  He is good at taking a concept and developing it, but a picture of something you like is always a good starting point.
