My heavy, double-wide wooden privacy gate on a metal frame was sagging terribly because of some under-sized metal hinges the previous owner had installed. I was planning on using a fence contractor I had previously hired but they could not get to the job for 3-4 weeks. I called Paul's Portable Welding and was cordially greeted by Paul who said he could fix the gate later in the afternoon. I sent him some photos via text and he gave me a reasonable quote which was right in line with the price the fence contractor had provided. He showed up on time and the repairs were expertly done. Four heavy duty metal hinges and four brackets to strengthen the metal gate posts were installed. The gate closed so smootly after the repairs that I was actually able to close the 14' wide gate with my index finger. Paul's is a family owned business, I got the opportunity to meet 3 generations of his family while they worked on my gate. They were all nice, friendly people. I will use them again whenever the need arises and recommend them to others. They offer mobile welding and will come right to the job site with a fully equipped welding setup.
Description of Work: Replace gate hinges and strengthen metal gate posts.
