"It is always good to get feedback from customers, even when it is not positive. I was late, but I called. I am usually punctual, unless things happen out of my control. This response shows how easy it is to have a misunderstanding. The customer's presumption that I was in a hurry was probably due the fact that I felt I was intruding on a pool party they seemed to be in the middle of. Furthermore, I believe it was his mother's house, and she clearly took over the conversation during the estimate. My schedule was pretty packed at the time, and she indicated that she needed it sooner than I could provide. My recollection was that if somehow someone cancelled, then I would call. I don't think the customer’s son was even involved at that point, but I don't honestly remember. In any case, I regret the misunderstanding."
