Tracy Hicks and his crew are very good at what they do. Tracy secured all the necessary permits before starting the job and worked with me to accommodate small changes dealing  with position of gates. Tracy was on the job daily supervising every detail of the job.

I think Hicks is the top guy as far as fencing is concerned. He is expensive but he does a good job.  He was right here when he said he would.

Due to a family emergency, we inherited two active dogs and had no fence. Tracy came right out to give an estimate and made suggestions to improve our design. He provided a temporary pen until the real one could be installed. Some unexpected issues came up and Tracy and his men dealt with them in a very professional and helpful way, always checking for our approval before making changes. We couldn't be happier with his company and would recommend Hicks Fencing over all other local companies.

Tracy Hicks, owner, personally came out and performed a site
visit and drafted statement of work and drawings for the driveway's automated security
gate and stonework (wall and pillars). Pillars are 8’6” high and are 2’ x
2’ in diameter. Gate is over 7.0’ tall.
Tracy was able to accommodate the project within his schedule, which he
estimated would take 10 calendar days from start to finish. The project
was completed for the quoted price and within acceptable period of performance;
actually took 12 calendar days but to me that was immaterial.
The automated solar powered gate works great and we are very thrilled with the
aesthetic appearance of the natural limestone stonework and the gate's metal
art work. The gate was specially built and the gate’s metal art work was
specially cut by American Fence and their metal works contractor. The
quality of the natural stonework is wonderful, plumb and straight; the colors
match the residence and the pre-existing pillar mailbox. Hicks Fencing
uses American Fence and Supply Company for their fencing materials. The
metal work from American Fence and Supply Company is powder coated and mfg.
warranted for 20 years.

Tracy's quote was about 10% higher than the competitor's. But when you look at the materials and warranties he provides then you see the reasoning behind the quote.

From start to finish, Tracy and team did a great job. His employees were polite and punctual throughout the job. All my concerns and last minute changes were accepted with a solution. From start to finish it was a pleasure to work with Tracy Hicks, and , the resulting work is excellent. His approach is a model for doing things right.

1. -- He was very punctual with appointments and was prompt in responding to questions and revisions.

-- His proposal was very complete with exactly what work would be done , provided specifics about the materials that would be used and explained how the installation would proceed.
-- As a local business, he was able to site several references in my neighborhood and we had opportunity to observe the work of one of his crews in process.
-- He was up front about expected lead time to begin work, promised to call on a specific date to confirm the start date, and did so without further follow up from me.
-- The work began the next week and once it started, the crew worked continuously until completion...in two days...just as estimated. The crew members all seemed to know exactly how to proceed and manage their work with each other. The stone work is beautiful.
-- Tracy was on site both work days checking on things and returned the following day when all work was finished.
He is personable, knowledgeable and very professional in delivering his services.

It's one guy and he is really good. He is a professional engineer and he got into the fencing business and he is excellent. He is sincere and does very high quality work, he really knows what he's doing. He does metal fabricating as part of the job. He is just a smart and pleasant guy and gives you a very clear and unambiguous estimate and doesn't charge you any extras.

The service was excellent. They are very dependable and they always complete the job with professionalism and efficiency.
